This is Dave Hendrick.
Came down to beautiful Hendersonville, Tennessee to visit with Steve
Huber today.
We're upstairs in the shop and I've asked Steve to cut a quick video here
of 312-8 and Steve, what would you like to start with and we'll kind of just go from there.
It'll be a little fireball man.
[G] That's a good one Earl.
[E]

[G] [E] [G]
Sweet.
Now, quick question for you.
What's the
[N] tone of that banjo and the things that you like to hear in a flathead banjo?
This has everything I want to hear and feel in a flathead [G] banjo.
Feel is as much of it as tone.
And the tone's [C] incredible [Ab] and the feel is incredible.
So
[D] when you play, [G] you can't overplay that.
[N] The banjo is solid, cement solid, Brian seems like to say.
Yes.
And real flatheads, real good flatheads are absolutely that solid.
Now what do you feel through the [G] resonator?
You make that observation quite a bit.
Right.
[Ab] So right here, [G] when I hold the banjo, I can feel that note, which is rare in [D] banjo.
[G]
It's clear as a bell and solid.
[D] [C] Take the fourth string if you would down to a C.
