For those of you who think I put my J200 in the dryer too long and shrunk it, you'd be wrong.
Dead wrong.
This is actually a miniature J200, the Emmylou Harris signature model.
The Gibson Emmylou Harris model features a triple A grade Sitka spruce top, curly maple
sides and back, a rosewood fretboard, the classic mustache bridge, crown inlays, Cluson
tuners, got the amazing L.R.
Bags iMix pickup system, and hand scalloped bracing.
For years Emmylou Harris played the full size J200, _ _ _ _ but after a while she found the body
to be way too big for her.
After collaborating with Gibson, they came up with the Emmylou Harris signature model,
which is basically a smaller J200.
It contains all of the tone, all of the features of the J200 in a smaller package.
_ Though this is a shrunken down J200, it's a completely different guitar.
When I first picked it up, it felt really familiar, but when I strummed it, it sounded
completely different.
There's a little less low end, a little less boominess, there's more midrange, more dynamics
that come out of this guitar.
It does have all the familiar features of the J200, such as the mustache bridge, the
crown inlays, the beautiful pick guard, the Cluson tuners, and the beautiful vintage sunburst.
