The other day I was just surfing around YouTube and I saw a video that somebody
had posted and what they did was on the old PT channel I had done a play along of Going
to California and somebody recorded their own vocal _ over my video of the play along
which was kind of a neat idea.
But of course the problem was I did it as a play along so
you can hear a plant and the mandolin and all that other stuff along with that guy's
vocal.
So I figured well hell man if somebody wants to go to the trouble of singing along
with one of my guitar parts I might as well give them a clean version of that guitar. _
So what I'm going to try to do is I got headphones on at least one ear because I have to be able
to hear what I'm playing.
So I'm going to play along through the headphones but hopefully
all you'll hear or mostly what you'll hear is just the guitar and if you want to sing
along _ [D]
you might get what this is all about after all.
So you might hear a little bit
of plant because I have one ear off the headphone so you might hear a little bit of it but I
think what we'll end up with is a fairly start to finish [G] clean version.
Now this is in [D] the
tuning that Jimmy would have used so both E strings down to D.

on how to play this if that's what you need.
