Gospel bass lesson: Connecting the Minor Pentatonic scale chords
Start Jamming...
Hey, this is Travis.
I just wanted to do a little video tutorial on connecting the minor
pentatonic scale all the way down the neck.
I hope this lesson helps people who have a
song in their head, because everybody has a song in their head that they want to express,
but they don't know how because they don't know how to play an instrument or they [A] don't
know the advanced theory of it or anything.
But I just hope this helps you express what
you have in your head and in your mind and in your soul.
Alright, let's go ahead and
get started.
We're in A, the key of A minor.
[C]
[A] Alright, we're going to start off right here.
I'm not going to call the notes out, I just want you to [C] follow my fingers.

[A] [F] Alright,
now for you 5-string and 4-string players, when I do the scale, [E] I [A] forgot to say this
at the beginning of [Bb] the video, but when [A] I do the scale, [G]
when [Am] [D] I get to that G string,
that's where you stop.
[E] Alright,
