Hi, and welcome to chord tutorial number 135
We'll be learning some chords that we can play cabmo blues with okay the guitar is tuned standard
E a D G B E and there's no capo
[G] The first chord is G.
[G#] We're holding down third fret B and high E string
[N] bringing in the middle finger to the low E string at the third fret and
Taking up the [G] second fret on the a string
With the second finger and that's G major
Now we're going to remove this finger and get G slash B strumming it [B] from this string the a [G] string
That's our G slash B
We'll move these two fingers down
to [N] the a string third fret and
The D string second fret to get C add 9 strumming it [C] from the a string
[Fm] Now here's an [Gm] interesting one
This is [E] G slash E
[G] We're not strumming
The two strings up here and a hammer on the D string
And then follow through with the rest of the strings like that
[Em] That's G slash E
[Gm] Next is G.
So G6 we make our traditional G
[Em] And then remove the pinky so we have that high E string in there
Like that [G] that's G6
for [N] G6 slash F sharp
We're going to take
the first finger and go up to the low E string second fret and then leave the
Ring finger [G] down on the B string third fret [D] and [A] now we've got a G6 slash F [D] sharp
for [A#] G6 slash E [D] we're going to [Em] hammer on
The D [G] string second fret
Playing it from that string
[Em] And we've still got our high E open down
[Gm] For [G#] a D suspended 2 4 we're simply going to leave our ring finger on the B string
[F#] third fret [G] and strum that
from the D string
For G slash E.
We're going to put our pinky and ring finger on the third fret on the B and high E string
Hammer with our middle finger [E] on [C] the D string second fret [Em] for that
Okay, that's G slash E C [C] chord
third fret ring finger a string
Middle finger D string second fret and first finger first fret B string
strumming it from
the A string
D suspended 2 [G] slash F [D] sharp
Like that
[G] [F#] first finger to the low E string second fret
the [G] middle finger goes to the G string second fret and the ring finger goes to the B string third [A] fret and
That [C] is D suspended 2 slash F sharp
[N]
Next is an open G chord.
We're going to take the ring finger place it at the third fret and
the pinky third fret on
The B and high E and strum that [Gm] from the G string
Like that and that is an open G chord
[G] Now here's a weird one.
This is C sharp minor 11 fourth fret
Got the a [C#] string
Bar everything [N] and then we're going to come down with the ring finger or middle finger whichever one you prefer
Hold down the B and high E string at the fifth fret and we get [F#m] this
[C#] [C#m] [Em] That's C sharp minor [Gm] 11
textbook a chord
[A] We're simply holding down the [B] D
the G and the B string at
The [A] second fret and everything [Em] else is open.
We're starting that from the [A] a string
[E] All right
And that's about it for chord tutorial number 135
