_ _ _ Right here's a little [D] lesson every rose has its thorn the first or the [G] two solos due to a good request so
_ Here we go the first solo
_ _ starts on
The 14 it's all kind of based on _ _ _ _
_ [A] _ The [C#] e minor pentatonic scale [G] _
and it starts off here on the 14 on the G string
_ _ _ _ _ Then the 15 on the B string and _ _ _ _ _ then he kind of goes up the scale
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[A] _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [C] _ _ [G] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Then 15 down here _
_ _ _ _ 12 on the B string
_ _ _ _ _ The only note that's not in the pentatonic scale _ is this one on the 13 on the B string _
Which is your flat 6 so _ [Gm] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
all right _ so solo number 2 _
_ _ starts on
This 14 on the fourth string up the D string and then it's going to go to the 12 on the B string
[E] _ _ [G] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ Then you get the flat
16 flat 13 _ 6 all right anyway, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ and then _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [N] It's like a country type thing bending on the 14
_ _ While [G] it's still bent you hit the 15
_ Then let the 14 down
It's like a pedal steel technique
_ _ _ _ _ _ Then down to the 12
_ Then you bend [Em] the 15 _
[B] _ _ _ _ [A] Now here's a tricky run.
He adds a couple notes [G] that aren't in the pentatonic
You got the the flat 6 here, and then you have a 2 back here or or a 9
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [D] _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _
[G] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [D] Now this parts with the whammy bar
But I don't [E] have one on the this guitar so you can do it by [G] sliding into your notes.
It's gonna be 11
That's your second or your 9 so 11th fret _ _ _ _
12th fret 14th fret _ _ _ _
_ [D#] _ _ _ _ _ now.
Here's [Em] kind of like a country thing again on the two 15s down here on the bottom of the scale
[G] _ _ _ [F#] _ _ _ _
_ _ [Cm] _ _ [G] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ I'm just holding this one the whole time straight and bending the 15 _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ Then that whammy bar less slide effect thing we're doing here _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
Now this is my favorite lick of the whole solo when I was 14
I just slaved over this I didn't learn it until I was like 24 so 10 years later
_ _ So it's using the two shapes of the pentatonic up here a little bit and putting them together
_ And it's something like this
_ starting on the 15 to the 17 and
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[E] _ _ _ _ [G] then here's like a _
Bluegrass type lick and _ _ _ _ _ then he does that again
[Em] _ _
[G] so _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
and then
_ _ Slide up to here, which is your root note, _ _ _ _ _ _ so that's the 20th fret on the B string.
It's a G
so that whole solo is _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [C#m] _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ _
[F#] _ _ [B] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _
[G#] _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [G#] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[G] _ _ _ Alright, so hopefully that helps you guys out
It's easier than me tabbing it out
so
Cool.
Thanks for the watching my videos.
I'll [N] talk to you later
