I made this record in
Pittsburgh when I was living.

at home with our son, Elijah, who was really little at the time.
It was pretty remote and

I just started recording these songs and the
whole record I think took, I mean it wasn't conceived as a record, but it became one.
Basically I was writing one song a day, so like one of these songs [Eb] every day.
So it took
maybe, I don't know, two weeks to do it.
It was like being in some kind of weird trance.
That may have been the sleeplessness [Db] from the baby.
