I want to teach you how to play the song called nothing but a g-thang by dr.

This is what I'm gonna teach you in today's lesson [Bm] goes like this, right?

Yeah, the second half of is like the really catchy part.
But anyway, okay, so there's two sections to it
The first section is the easy section and then the second section is yours
_ [F#m] _ That [B] part okay, but anyway, here we go, let's go ahead and quickly learn how to play it
It's actually not that hard.
So this tutorial would probably be a short one.
But anyway, here we go
All right, so the right hand for the first section goes like this.
So it starts on the B
Okay, middle C C.
Alright, we go up to this B.
Okay.
Firstly, we have two B's _ and
Then two [A] A's and that's it for the first section really easy for the right hand
So just four [B] notes in total.
Okay, so one more time.
So right hand goes two B's _ and
then [Dm] two A's
_ Like [Bm] that, so that's right hand notes.
Okay, the left hand we have
Three chords here.
Okay.
So the three chords are B minor which is B D F sharp
The second chord is an interesting chord.
This is let me see
Okay, so it's kind of like a first [B] inversion of a major with a B bass there
Which is actually [C#] B [A] C sharp E A
_ Okay.
Okay.
So that's the second chord.
Remember that [D#] and then third chord back [Bm] to B minor B D F sharp
Okay, so remember these three chords if you can't just write it down the notes and remember them by yourself
Okay, but anyway one more time the three chords are B minor
_ B D F sharp.
Second chord is [C] like a first inversion A [A] major with a B bass
Which is B C sharp E A and then back to B [Bm] minor
_ Okay, so remember these three chords because it's actually these three chords that occur throughout the whole song even for the second section as well
[B] Be a lot more easy [F#m] if you remember these three [Bm] chords
So come [A] on [Bm] practice it and play it [A] until you [Bm] can like play it [A] without looking at [Bm] the keys
Just like what [A] I'm doing right [Bm] now.

I'm [A] actually not [D] looking at the keys and [B] just like playing it like that as you remember in the [Bm] position
But anyway, once you do, okay
Let's go ahead and now do the two hands together and teach you the rhythm to it
The rhythm is kind of like harder for you to count.
So you just have really have to count it

So that's the two hands together like that.

It's really important to get the rhythm right like this because if you don't get it, it won't really sound like the original

So middle C higher C and then the high B there

Those are the notes for this [C#] second section one more time for the second section for the right hand to remember these [G] notes

E F sharp like [G#] that.

So remember these notes for the second section and you'll be all good

_ Left hand we have the exact same three chords as the first section as I said before
I have to [Bm] remember it very clearly and it'll be easier
So B minor B D F sharp followed by the [C] first [B] inversion a major with the [A] B bass thing
Which is B C sharp E a [Bm] back to B minor Okay
So [A] these three [Bm] chords in mind that you know the two hands together goes [C#] like this for [D] the second section
So it goes B and [Bm] B minor together _
_ _ B and the next [A] chord together _ _
_ [F#m] _ _ _ You
And I'm B minor by itself at [Bm] the end just like that, okay, so that's that let's do it with proper counting now so it goes _ one two _ [A] three four _ one [F#m] two _ [Bm] three
Four so the left hand chords come in in the exact same rhythm as the first
Section because the left hand is always setting that same beat throughout the way
Okay, but anyway one more time.
