[E] Hey everybody, this is
Stephen Wesley Giles with a quick tutorial
how to play the outro guitar for
For the Gilmore Girls, I love the Gilmore Girls so so sue me
No, don't I love the Gilmore Girls are awesome, and I love the music.
It's by a
Lot of the music that you hear in the show is by Sam Phillips
And there's this little guitar [Eb] riff that plays at the outro and it's [E] like this
And
[A]
[E]
it took me forever to I don't know why it was so hard for me to figure that out
But it's really simple you can play it basically if you just want to play the part that you normally hear on the outro
You could even do it with like two strings your low E string
[B] and then you just take your your other finger, and you [Gm] lift it on and off on the second fret on the a string so
[E] Here's what I'm playing
Then you go to the a string [Am] and just play these two strings [Em] [A] the a string and the D string
And
[E]
there you go.
That's and then you get some friends that play shaker and whatnot and you have a whole
You have a whole little jam, so there you go, and if you want to play it with the full E chord like this
Sorry camera shaking put your whole E chord, and you're gonna take your middle finger off
Unless [C] you flip your finger.
I don't know people play the chord [E] like this
[Bm] [E] And then I think the beginning is much more tight, it's usually the top couple strings
[Bb] There you go playing the Gilmore Girls outro theme
