_ _ _ _ _ [A] _ _ _
_ _ _ [E] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [G] _ _ _ _ _
Yeah!
_ Let's get [F] back to some rock and [Bm]
roll!
You know, [F] it's the good stuff.
It's got some drive, you know, cruising in your car and you're like, I'm going to pass
some [E] people on this song because I can!
[Gbm] _ _ _
Anyways, it's just good energy, good, you know, [B] just kind of get stuff stirred up and
I love it!
If you've got a [D] song request of your own, you want [E] to stir some stuff up at the campfire
or you [F] know, at the gig or whatever, put in your little [B] request and I will do my best
to get to it.
I love the [Db] ideas, dude.
You guys come [Bb] up with some awesome requests and stuff I hadn't thought of in [F] forever so
it totally helps me out.
By the way, if you like what you're seeing, [Ebm] spread it far and wide, you know, over here,
[Db] over there, on this [E] media, that media, get it out!
That would totally help me out.
You guys are awesome.
[B] Let's get to it! _
[Em] Alright, so let's break this down.
We're going to slide in on the D string from 5 to [D] 7.
_ Then we're going to go G and [B] B string, 5th fret and then right to [C] the 7th fret.
_ [D] _ _ Then we're going to [Eb] bend that up a half step, right? _ _ _ _ _
_ [C] _ _ And then we're going to pull off from 7 to 5.
So we got, _ [G] _ _ _ [C] _
_ alright, all together.
And then we're going to go [Db] D string twice, 7th [Eb] fret, D [F] string once, 5th fret.
[A] _ _ [G] _ _
So the whole thing all [E] together really slowly [G] is, _
_ [Am] _ _ _ _ _ [D] _ _
[Eb] _ _ [D] _ _ [Am] _ _ _ _
_ [G] _ _ _ alright, up to speed. _
[D] _ _ _ _ [G] _ _ Then we're going to do a [D] _ reoccurring strum pattern that's going to happen on almost all
of the chords in the [Bb] song.
And it's going to sound [A] like this. _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ So what [Db] I'm doing is I'm doing three down [B] strokes in a row followed by a mute.
So [A] I'm going 1, 2, 3, _ [Am] mute.
_ [A] _ _ _ _ Okay, so we got. _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
And then I'm going to go, _ _ which is up, down, up, down. _ _ _
Alright, so we got. _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ One more time. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Okay, so in between that first [G] little riff and [D] the next riff that is basically the [Ebm] exact
same thing with the addition [B] of an extra note, we're going to do [C] three of those.
So it's going to [D] go. _ _ _ _
_ [A] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ _
_ [A] Now [Dm] what you're going to do is you're going to add that 7th fret D string _ at the [Bb] end of
that little riff and that gets you into [Eb] the verse.
Now it's going to be the same [D] thing in between each of the lyric lines.
We're going to go back to.
[A] _ _ _ _ _ _ And you're going to do an [G] extra hit at the end.
So it's going to be.
[A] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ And then basically slide off to [B] the chord.
And then it's going to do the little, you know, vocal line again, etc, etc.
[Bm] And it's going to do that a [E] couple of times [C] before it breaks [B] into the next part.
So let's go into the next part.
[Gb] Okay, so we've done [G] our verses, right?
We got the three times of.
[A] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [E] _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ [A] Right?
_ _ _ _ _ _ [F] _ _
Then on the third time, it's going to do that riff again. _
[D] Okay, _ _ _ [G] _ _ _
and that's going to get us into [C] a D chord.
[D] _ _
_ _ [G] _ _ [D] _ _ _ _
_ [G] _ _ [D] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ So you're going to go. _
_ _ _ _ And then you're going to come up to this C right [C] here _ and into an [G] F down here.
_ _ _ _ I'm sorry, G, _ F, G.
It's all the same, right?
[Em] So we got.
[D] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [Dm] _ _ _ So on the fourth time, you're just going to do that three times and you're going to hold
that D chord.
So all together, we got.
[A] And _
_ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _
_ _ [D] _ _ _ [G] _ _ _
[D] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
then it's going to go back to our same, you [B] know, strum pattern we [A] got. _ _ _ _ _
[Eb] Right?
And then we're going to [Dbm] go from [F] A to C [C] to D.
So you're going to be on the E [F] string, fifth [E] and seventh fret, [D] A string, [Eb] third [Db] and fifth,
A string, [C] five and seven.
So [A] we got.
_ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _
_ _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[C] _ _ _ _ _ _ [D] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [A] _ _ _
_ _ _ And then what you're going to do is [C] you're going to do one mute after [Bb] that strum [F]
progression,
[C] and that's going to get you into the next [Bb] part.
So we got. _
[A] _ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _ _
_ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [E] _ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _
_ _ _ _ Right?
So you're going to go [Dbm] do that and then you're going [E] to mute _ and [Em] then.
_ _ _ _ _ [E] _ _ _
_ [G] _ _ _ _ _ [E] _ _
_ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ [E] _
_ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _
_ [E] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [G] _ _ _ _ So [E] all together, it's going to [A] go.
_ _ _ _ _ [C] _
_ _ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _
_ _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _
_ _ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _
_ _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [E] _ _ _ _ _ [G] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [Em] _ Yes, way to go.
[Dm] _
[B] Awesome song.
I love that song.
[D] There's a couple other songs in this band that are just [B] great.
So let me know if you want to hear some more [Dbm] of those with that request [Db] link down below.
You [D] got a good, you know, [Db] classic rock sound and tune.
And you're like, [A] you [Db] know, I heard this on the radio.
I heard it on a [F] pop station and it rocks and I [Db] want to hear it.
So request down there and that [F] would be awesome.
Like I said, too, if [G] you like what you see, spread it far and wide.
Tell your friends, [F] share the links, do all that [Eb] stuff.
It totally helps me out.
You guys are awesome.
Thank you so much.
As always, I
