He's playing E minor 7 with a one of your fingers has to hit [C] that third fret B string on [G] third fret B string

Think I'm probably doing it that way most of the time with pinky and then these fingers on E minor

_ _ _ You're adding your pinky to that [Gb]
basically that third fret B strings kind of getting _ emphasized in the [Em] chord changes

So we go C then
1 3 so C 1 3 on the B and back to the kind of lower note so and _
