Hey, what's going on everyone?
This is KC back again with another exciting Worship Wednesday.
And these courts [Abm] are the perfect courts for anytime someone is talking, whether it be your
pastor, whether it be someone coming up doing an announcement.
And I'm going to give you three
different levels.
Okay, so level one is for my CCM, very basic.
Level two is a little bit more
advanced for my more modern and contemporary churches.
And then level three, y'all know I'm
the holy in this church, the apostolic, this is a little bit more busy, a little bit more dissonant.
So let's jump in.
I'm giving you level one.
So level one, we're going to play a more
contemporary Christian [Fm] style.
[Ab]
Very simple, very pure.
You can play this a little bit [Fm] lower.
[Eb] And these are called drop two [Ab] chords.
[Db] All right, and I'll do that one more time.
This is like a C sharp [Ab] chord.
And I'm adding the two.
And what I'm going to do is drop the two,
I did a video all about drop two chords, and I'll put the link below.
[Db] So this is my C sharp
drop two chord.
And then [Eb] this is my E flat drop two.
So drop two means drop the second highest note.
So this is an E flat add two, I'm drop this.
And then here [Ab] we go.
And this is an A flat chord.
This is like a drop 30, but more open voicing.
And this is an A flat add two, and I'm going to drop
the two.
And then last but not [Db] least, this is a C sharp chord.
And I'm [Ab] just dropping the middle
note or drop three, but more open voicing.
So one more [Db] time.
[Eb] [Ab]
Very clean, very pure.
All right, so let's go to [Abm] the second level.
So the second type of movement is perfect for
my more modern contemporary churches, even modern Baptist, modern Christian,
non-denominational.
So let me give you an example of what we could do here.
Same type of chords,
but there's a pattern.
So watch [Db] this pattern.
[Ab]
[Eb] [Db]
[Eb] [Ab] [Gb] [Db]
[Ab] [Gb] I don't [Ab] want to prolong the video, so [Abm] I'll just
play through this pattern.
[Db]
Number two, [Ab] number [Eb] three, number four.
[F] And then we're going to do
another group of four.
Number one, [Db]
number two, number [Eb] three, [Ab] number four.
And then we have one
more group of four.
[Gb] That's one, [Db]
two, [Ab] three, four.
And then here's the [Gb] bonus.
See, we're [Ab] still in A flat,
and it still fits with this pad that you guys are hearing in [Db] the background.
Again, you can
[Abm] download.
I have pads for every key, C, C sharp, any key you can think of.
I have a pad, a worship
pad that you can download, and I'm including that in our toolbox sections of our free club.
So with that being said and done, I know y'all are ready for level three, and I'm kind of torn
with this version because I would never really play this because it's a little too busy for me.
It's a little too dissonant.
So level three, let me connect level two to level [Fm] three.
So [Eb] we're coming out of level [Db] two.
[Eb]
[Ab] [Ebm] [Ab] [Gb]
Here is level [Fm] three.
[Db] [C] [Db]
[Eb] [Db] [Bb]
[Ab]
Come right back to something a little bit
more clean.
[Abm] So I went super dissonant, and then I led to something that was a little bit more
palatable or something that the congregation could come back to something a little bit more
soothing.
So you don't want to do a whole bunch of dissonance without leading to something
soothing and something that creates an atmosphere of worship.
[Gb] So the last chord out of our [Db] group two
or our level two, we were here, and I'm going [Fm] to take this to this drop two [Db] chord right here.
And
this is a C sharp add two, [Fm]
drop the two.
Now we're right here and we're in position to throw in some
of these dissonant diminished seventh chords, and I'm going to break those chords up.
So we're here.
Now next one is this.
[Db] Now if you look [G] at this, this is a C sharp diminished seventh chord,
and I'm dropping the two.
So these are all drop two chords.
This is the first one.
[Bb] So I did an inversion, [Em] and this [Db] is an E diminished [Bbm] seventh, drop the two.
[Db] So here's [Bb] the next [Ebm] group of two.
[Eb]
So that's an E flat diminished seventh, drop the two, [C] and then move that up an inversion.
This is a F sharp, drop the two.
[Eb] So let's do the [Db] first one.
So [Gb] we're here on our level two,
and we're going to [Db] come down to set us up.
All right, [G] so one, [Bb] two,
[Ebm] one, [Eb] two.
Ready?
Let's keep this moving.
[Db] One, two.
So this one here is an E diminished [E] seventh, [Bbm] and I'm going to drop [Db] the two,
and roll this up.
This is a G diminished seventh, drop the two.
So we have that group of two.
So [G] [Gb]
[Db] let's
[Ebm] [Eb] [Db]
[Eb] do the next group of two.
[C]
So this is an F sharp, drop the two, and [Eb] I'm going to roll this up.
[C] And this is an A diminished seventh, drop the two.
[Eb] And for those of you who feel like I'm moving too
fast, I promise you I'm going to give you all of the study guides that you [Gb] need, the PDF, from not
just this lesson, but last week, last year, last month, last two years, and it's all included in our free
club.
And that way you guys can follow along to make this a lot easier for yourself.
So anyway, out
of level two.
So here we go.
[Db] [G]
[C] One, two, [G] one, two.
Here we go.
There's the one we just [C] covered.
One, [Eb] two, last [Db] two.
[Bb] [Db] Ah, [G] so this is a G diminished seventh, drop the two, [Bb] and then I'm gonna do something a little
different right here.
And this is not gonna be a drop two.
This is a C sharp, and I'm just gonna
echo that because [Db] I want to try to get to a clean [Bb] place.
[Ab]
There we go.
So [Bb]
that's that chord, and then
I'm coming [Ab] to a very clean E flat major, A flat major first inversion, and that's not a drop two.
This is just a very clean, [Bb] pleasant chord.
[Ab]
And then what we can do is here, we want to get to the four
[Cm]
[Db] [Ab] to come to a point of resolution.
All right, so what we [Eb] did was, [Ab] we could do something like [Cm] this
to get to that [Db] four chord.
[Ab] All right, [Db] so [Bb] now [Ab]
[Db] I'm on the four.
[Ab]
I call these sprinkles.
Now, I'm just basically playing random notes in the E flat scale without [Cm]
[Fm] hitting the four
[Cm] [Ab] scale degree because [Db] I already have the four at the bottom.
[Eb] All right, and so with all that being
said and done, I'll put a link here for those of you who want more information about chords like
this and nice progressions that you can use in a talk music environment.
I love you guys so much,
and you know I never like to close any video without letting you know that today is a new day,
a new life, and a new opportunity for you to become a better you.
I'll see you guys in this
video right here or other

[Ab] [Gb] I don't [Ab] want to prolong the video, so [Abm] I'll just
play through this pattern.
[Db]
Number two, [Ab] number [Eb] three, number four.
[F] And then we're going to do
another group of four.
Number one, [Db]
number two, number [Eb] three, [Ab] number four.
And then we have one

[Gb] That's one, [Db]

So [Eb] we're coming out of level [Db] two.
[Eb]
[Ab] [Ebm] [Ab] [Gb]
Here is level [Fm] three.
[Db] [C] [Db]
[Eb] [Db] [Bb]
[Ab]
Come right back to something a little bit

[Abm] So I went super dissonant, and then I led to something that was a little bit more

[Gb] So the last chord out of our [Db] group two
or our level two, we were here, and I'm going [Fm] to take this to this drop two [Db] chord right here.
And
this is a C sharp add two, [Fm]
drop the two.

This is a G diminished seventh, drop the two.
So we have that group of two.
So [G] [Gb]
[Db] let's
[Ebm] [Eb] [Db]
[Eb] do the next group of two.
[C]
So this is an F sharp, drop the two, and [Eb] I'm going to roll this up.
[C] And this is an A diminished seventh, drop the two.
[Eb] And for those of you who feel like I'm moving too

Again, you can
[Abm] download.
I have pads for every key, C, C sharp, any key you can think of.
I have a pad, a worship
pad that you can download, and I'm including that in our toolbox sections of our free club.
So with that being said and done, I know y'all are ready for level three, and I'm kind of torn
with this version because I would never really play this because it's a little too busy for me.
It's a little too dissonant.
So level three, let me connect level two to level [Fm] three.
So _ [Eb] we're coming out of level [Db] two.
_ _ [Eb] _
[Ab] _ [Ebm] _ _ [Ab] _ _ _ [Gb] _ _
_ Here is level [Fm] three. _ _ _
[Db] _ _ _ [C] _ _ _ [Db] _ _
_ [Eb] _ _ [Db] _ _ _ [Bb] _ _
[Ab] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Come right back to something a little bit
more clean.
[Abm] So I went super dissonant, and then I led to something that was a little bit more
palatable or something that the congregation could come back to something a little bit more
soothing.
So you don't want to do a whole bunch of dissonance without leading to something
soothing and something that creates an atmosphere of worship.
[Gb] So the last chord out of our [Db] group two
or our level two, we were here, and I'm going [Fm] to take this to this drop two [Db] chord right here.
And
this is a C sharp add two, [Fm]
drop the two.
Now we're right here and we're in position to throw in some
of these dissonant _ diminished seventh chords, and I'm going to break those chords up.
So we're here. _ _
Now next one is this.
[Db] _ _ Now if you look [G] at this, this is a C sharp diminished seventh chord,
and I'm dropping the two. _
So these are all drop two chords.
This is the first one.
_ [Bb] So I did an inversion, _ [Em] and this [Db] is an E diminished [Bbm] seventh, drop the two.
[Db] So here's [Bb] _ the next [Ebm] group of two.
_ [Eb] _
So that's an E flat diminished seventh, drop the two, _ _ _ _ [C] and then move that up an inversion.
_ This is a F sharp, drop the two.
[Eb] _ So let's do the [Db] first one.
So [Gb] we're here on our level two,
and we're going to [Db] come down to set us up.
All right, [G] so one, _ [Bb] two, _
_ _ [Ebm] one, _ [Eb] two. _
Ready?
Let's keep this moving.
[Db] One, _ two.
So this one here is an E diminished [E] seventh, _ [Bbm] and I'm going to drop [Db] the two,
and roll this up.
_ _ This is a G diminished seventh, drop the two.
So we have that group of two.
So [G] _ [Gb] _ _
[Db] let's
_ _ [Ebm] _ [Eb] _ [Db] _ _
_ [Eb] _ do the next group of two.
_ _ [C]
So this is an F sharp, drop the two, and [Eb] I'm going to roll this up.
_ [C] And this is an A diminished seventh, drop the two.
[Db] _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ [C] One, two, [G] one, two.
Here we go.
There's the one we just [C] covered.
One, [Eb] two, last [Db] two.
_ [Bb] _ _ [Db] Ah, [G] so this is a G diminished seventh, drop the two, [Bb] and then I'm gonna do something a little
different right here.
And this is not gonna be a drop two.
This is a C sharp, and I'm just gonna
echo that because [Db] I want to try to get to a clean [Bb] place.
_ _ [Ab] _
There we go.
_ So [Bb] _ _
that's that chord, and then
I'm coming [Ab] to a very clean E flat major, A flat major first inversion, and that's not a drop two.
This is just a very clean, [Bb] pleasant chord.
[Ab] _ _ _
And then what we can do is here, we want to get to the four
_ [Cm] _
_ [Db] _ _ _ [Ab] to come to a point of resolution. _ _ _ _
All right, so what we [Eb] did was, _ _ [Ab] _ we could do something like [Cm] this
to get to that [Db] four chord.
_ [Ab] All right, [Db] so _ [Bb] now [Ab] _ _ _
_ _ [Db] _ I'm on the four.
[Ab] _ _
_ _ I call these sprinkles. _ _
Now, I'm just basically playing random notes in the E flat scale _ without [Cm] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Fm] hitting the four
[Cm] [Ab] scale degree _ because _ _ _ _ [Db] I already have the four at the bottom. _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Eb] _ _ All right, and so with all that being
said and done, I'll put a link here for those of you who want more information about chords like
this and nice progressions that you can use in a talk music environment.
