There's two ways to transpose in FL Studio.
First let's look how this is done in the piano roll.
Here we have some midi.
Let's transpose this up or down one semitone.
To do that, just click here
to select the notes you want to [F#] transpose, or hold ctrl and drag.
If you want to select everything,
just hold ctrl and press A.
To transpose this by one semitone, hold shift and use the up or down
arrows.
You can also move it sideways.
To transpose it up or down one octave, hold ctrl [C#m] instead and
then press the up or down arrow.
[E]
[F#m]
Now this is great for transposing a single pattern, but what if you
have [N] multiple patterns that need transposing?
You might have leads, a bassline, and chords that all
need to be transposed.
Or you might have multiple unique patterns of the same instrument.
To
transpose multiple patterns, you can use the pattern picker.
Hold ctrl again and select the
clips you want to transpose.
Then right click on any one of them and select transpose.
Type in the
amount you want to transpose it by.
Positive numbers transposes it up, while negative numbers
transposes it down.
I hope this was helpful.
