You wrote a song that we
featured on the one of the last country's family reunion things and there was not a dry eye in the
house uh called I Know.
Give me the setup for that why how did that come about?
Well uh Ron called me
on a Tuesday.
Ron lived in uh West um Knoxville at the time we lived Monterey Tennessee and um
Ron called me and said are you sitting down?
I said well I can be.
He said I want to read you
something.
Lady in my Sunday school class brought me this poem that her sister wrote.
Her sister was
in jail on drug charges and she said her sister had written this poem.
Ron read it to me and uh
just blew me away.
I need to hear it.
Very strong.
They're about ready to cut me off.
I need to hear
it.
Well anyway we got [Am] permission to write [A] a song from this poem.

Oh golly
it's uh it's phenomenal.
I don't care where it is.
It's uh
in a church around a campfire.
What if this is this it's almost a stunned
silence it for just a few seconds after and then it's a very positive response and um
it's been several funerals and um I I I can't um there's so many people that say it just it just
uplifts them and gives them peace and uh strength and healing.
It does that.
I mean we all heard it
times.
Which is what God does.
Yeah he does.
