Originally had a
Crowd of [Ab] people who weren't hearing on the [Gb] radio is all word-of-mouth and on the internet [Ab] people were kind of [Db] spreading the word about our
Band and we were [Bbm] playing little clubs
And we just had the most amazing group of people come in that were just dead silent listening to every word
We'd sing and I used to not have the sing-along thing happen at all people would actually
Hush everybody if anybody was talking or you know drinking a beer and like talking it was always like listen
You know and we'd be playing and then I remember we started
getting play on the radio and then younger girls started coming and a
Lot of college girls and stuff in the front rows and they'd start singing along all the words
And I loved it because it was like having backup singers in the band all of a sudden
And I used to always have these people going like all these guys like trying to shush all the girls
And I'd be like no
Don't make the girls be quiet man
It's great keep singing and so like then it built and built and eventually became this thing where it was
Kind of part of our show where everybody comes and sings along
And I made perfect sense to me and the whole thing started actually feel natural
the reason I started playing guitar was to lead sing-alongs with
you know Cat Stevens and
_ Beatles songs and so all of a sudden when my own tune started becoming sing-alongs
