Hey what's up guys it's Brian back here again with another guitar tutorial.
It's
New Music Friday.
We are doing [G] Lean With Me by Juice WRLD which is super cool and
it's got a neat picking part and then it also has some chords to simplify.
So I'm
going to show you both and then either way if you're just new picking up the
guitar or you want to try to challenge yourself and do something a little bit
more intricate this tutorial can be for you.
[N] If you haven't subscribed to this
channel already I hope that you consider doing so.
I've got over 200
tutorials on this channel everything from rap and R&B to country and Latin so
hope you'll take a look and consider subscribing and become part of the shade
squad.
Alright so [E] your first chord shape you're gonna come up to C sharp minor
[N] for this and I'm gonna lean in here a little bit because it's gonna be
a little bit more intricate than what you might be used to.
So your chord shape
is gonna look like this.
You're gonna put your index finger on the
fourth fret and then you're just gonna put your finger on the sixth fret G
string and the fifth fret B string.
You're gonna leave your pinky
loose because what you're gonna need to do is you're gonna have to use it to
come up on the B string seventh fret.
So you're gonna [C#] pluck your A string
then you're gonna pluck your G string.
[E] Same note just an octave higher.
Then you're gonna go B [F] fifth fret [F#] B seventh [C#m] fret then high E then back to
seventh fret [F#] B [E] then back to fifth fret B and then you're gonna pluck the fifth
fret B but you're gonna put your pinky as it gets [F#m] plucked.
So it's gonna make
that little ding ding.
[Bm] Okay do [E] you hear it?
Great.
So if you put it all together it's
supposed to [C#m] sound like this.
[C#m] [F#m] Okay [C#m] and so we can do that slower so A G B [C#] B [F#m] E E B B.
Okay [N] then we're gonna move down here to the second fret.
Alright and all you're
gonna do is put a bar on the second fret and then put a finger on the B string
fourth fret and then also again leave your pinky open.
Okay because what you're
gonna need to do is you're gonna pluck your [B] A string then B then A then [D] you're
gonna come up to the fifth fret with your pinky [E] on that B string and then
you're gonna do B again [D#m] fourth fret [C#] then B again second fret [Gm] then B again zero
fret.
Okay so the put that together it's [B] gonna sound like this.
[D] Okay [Em] then you're
gonna come down here [N] to your your E chord shape except you're not going to
put a finger on the A string so it's just gonna be a finger on the second
fret D string and a finger on the first fret G string.
Okay and then what you're
gonna do is you're gonna pluck [A] A D A G A D A G A D [E] A B [Am] G D A D.
Hope I didn't go too fast.
[B] So we'll do that again.
[A] A D A G A D A G A D A [E] B G [Am] D A D.
So you're [E] just gonna go ba na [Am] na na na.
Okay then you're gonna have to
[D] transition back up to to complete the circle you'll come back [C#m] up to your and
[F#] [C#m]
[B] [A]
that is how you play it.
Okay that's how it's supposed to sound.
[N] It's a little bit
more intricate like I said but if you're willing to put in the work and you're
willing to to kind of do the finger work and and learn it then this song is gonna
be super dope to play anywhere you want.
Press all the ladies right?
If the chord
thing or sorry if the note [D] kind of plucking is a little too hard what I
would do is substitute.
[Em] Okay you can do [C#m] a C sharp minor for that first part so
[Dm] then you go down come [B] down to B [E] then do [A] it A then you can [E] throw an E right at
the last minute.
Okay [F#] [E] so C sharp minor is gonna be four four [C#m] six six five four
[N] then your B is gonna be two two four [B] four two two then [E] your A is gonna be zero
zero two [A] two zero zero then [N] you're coming gonna do E zero two two one [E] zero
zero.
[C#m]
[B] [A]
[E] [N] So you're gonna hold that A for an extra like half measure [C#m] and then and
then jump back to the E.
So what I'm just doing strumming pattern for this down
down up rest down [B] down down one [A#] [G] [A]
[E] two.
So you're only playing that E for two beats
all right so you're playing the A the [N] sorry playing C sharp minor for four B
for four A for six E for two.
All right hope you enjoyed this tutorial please
