Hello, we're playing with Bill Withers song just the two of us today
I frequently go on to YouTube to find how other people's are playing songs and
Try to put together a chord progression that is
Manageable by myself.
I'm not necessarily a proficient guitarist, and this is what I've come up with
I'm just going to read off the chords to you, so you might have a moment to look them up on
Google or something like that
the chords progression is
pretty simple and
repetitive there's only
Seven chords six or seven chords in the whole song
And they're sort of cyclical so it shouldn't be too hard if you put a you know an hour or so into it
The chords are D minor 7
C sharp 7 F sharp minor 7 F minor 7 E minor 7 a
Minor 7 I'm sorry a 7 so it goes up fifth fret D minor 7 third [C#] fret
C sharp 7 and then the next three are a walk down [F#m] on the ninth fret
[Fm] [Em]
starting with a sharp minor [F#m] 7
F sharp minor 7 [Em] F minor 7 E minor 7 and you get on to the fifth fret for an a
[A] 7 and back to your original chord D minor 7 [F#m] and
your [C#] second chord
C-sharp 7 and the last chord is an F sharp minor looks like an E minor, but so if you do that order
[D]
[C#] [Em] [A]
[C#] [F#m] [D]
[C#] [E] [D]
[F#] [D] So that's all there is to it
Sounds pretty simple.
I know
If you want to put all of them together for the song or like this
[F#m] [Fm] [D]
[C#] [D]
[G#] [F#] [E] [D]
[C#] [D]
[C#] [F#m] [G#m] [D]
