[Ab] Wish I couldn't come, [Db] I'd shower and [Ab] then I'd crawl to the morning sun
[Db]
[Ab] Wish I'd never, never [Db] come so far and [Ab] then I'd stop and if I could not
[Db] Then I'd fall
[Ab] down, would I fall down?
[Db] Would we fall [Ab] down?
[Db]
[Ab] We like to [Db] say we [Ab] would never
[Db]
[Ab] Breathe it in, breathe out, can you breathe?
I know I cannot now

[Ab] [Db]
[Ab] Wish I hadn't spoke, [Db] wish I did what [Ab] I would sense or I did not fear
[Db]
[Ab] Wish we'd never, never [Db] grown so close that [Ab] we could fall, falling apart
[Db] And if it was [Ab] lost, would I be lost?
[Ab] Would we be lost?
[Db]
[Ab] We like to say we would never [Bb] come [Db] undone
[Ab] Breathe it [Bb] in, breathe out, can [Ab] you breathe?
I know [F] I [Ab] cannot now
[F] [Eb] Many nights I've spent [Ab] replaying the day
[F] Would [Eb] you listen [Bb] to what I have to [Ab] tell you?
Now you're gone [Db] and [Ab] I'm listening
We like to [Eb] say we [Ab] would never come [Db] undone
[Ab] Breathe it in, breathe out, can you breathe?
I know [Eb] I [Ab] cannot now
[Db]
[Ab] [Db] Hey [Ab]
everyone, that [F] was a very, very, very old song [Ab] of mine.
It's called Never Never.
[Eb] And I [Db] wrote this song 15 [Ab] years ago.
It used to be one of my favorites to [Eb] play at shows
and I probably haven't played it at a show in like 10 years or something.
But [F] it's such a special one to me and I love doing these throwback sessions
because [F] I get to introduce a [Ab] lot of you to some of my old, old songs.
This one was on an [Eb] album called One More in the [Ebm] Attic that I recorded in my [Ab] garage
before I understood how to record things.
As a result, [Fm] it sounds pretty bad.
[Ab] So it felt nice to give some love to [Bb] this song and bring it back.
[Ab] I wrote this song, I think, [Db] the first time Jesse and I broke [Ab] up for a little bit.
[F] And it was really, really [Bb] sad.
And I, [Ab] yeah, and then the song happened.
[Bb] But it's nice to sing it now knowing that we end up together.
It's very comforting.
Do I have anything else to say?
I recently went to Japan.
It was incredibly beautiful and inspiring.
And now I'm home and I'm gearing up to record [Bb] new music for you guys, which is exciting.
And I have something exciting coming next [Abm] month.
I'm not going to tell you yet, but I'll tell you guys soon.
Thank you, as always, to my KG Records [Db] family.
Thank you guys for supporting [Ab] and keeping me company
and being just the ultimate.
You guys are so awesome.
So I'm sending lots and lots of love to all of you guys.
And I will talk to you soon.
