We're going to start off with a song called The Awesome One-Step, and it was recorded by Joe and Komal Elkhorn in the early 30s.
And later became more well-known as it changed a little bit as biting pom-pom.
But it's the [A] old version of biting pom-pom.

[N] my band is called Les Tricajan, which means Cajun Spirit.
And my guitar player here is Bobby Michaud, the infamous Bobby Michaud from Lafayette.
Well, very well-known family in the Cajun music scene.
All boys, no girls.
There's two girls in the family.
Two girls in the family, but they don't play Cajun music.
But like five boys.
And so I've been knowing Bobby for about 25 years, a long time.
And then Kelly.
Kelly is from North Carolina, originally.
And Kelly has been playing with the Magnoli Sisters when Anya Can't Make It.
She's been sitting in, and she's been playing with me for a couple of years now in the venue.
And moved here to Lafayette.
Kelly, do you want to tell them about yourself?
I've been in Lafayette for about almost four years.
I did four years in August, [Fm] and moved out here [Bb] to go to school.
And also to learn about [N] Cajun music, and helped me through that.
