I went in there and there weren't many folks there.

I walked in and Kenny said, man, what
do you want to sing?
I know a whole bunch of your songs.

me.
I know a whole bunch of my songs too. _ _ _

He said, well, I don't have any kids of my
own, but if I did, I think I'd want to tell my kids what you said to [E] your kids in that

make it a duet.

So we did.
We played it about three times in the [F] studio.

and that was that.
_ _ _ _ _ And I [D] remember drying away that day, you know, thinking that sounds pretty
good.
I think if it didn't have me on it, it might [F] be a hit. _

the star power of Kenny Chesney.
He was able to have a hit [Ebm] even with me [Am] on it.

all the way up the charts like an [G] ankle weight.
