Okay, this is for Cameron in California and I'll be seeing you in a couple weeks I guess at the camp
You want to know about tremolo?
how to do tremolo and
What I would do I would start just on one string at a time [A] [B] take your right hand
[G] You can you hear this here.
[D] This is the [N] hand this part of the hand only
touching the bridge and just look behind the bridge and
okay, and
And you can let your fingers ride on the don't anchor or don't even do anything like this here at all
Just [A] like this here see that
and don't have a death grip on your pig, you know, like
You're gonna have a hard time getting smooth tremolo should be done pretty lightly at first and with a
Lucid grip on your pig kind of like I just try it and see
Okay, that's just on one string, okay
Then you want to go to do the two strings
See what I'm doing it's just it's off all in the wrist doesn't have to be the upper arm you're gonna have a hard time
the whole lower arm
[B] [F#] [B] [A]
[B] [F#m] [D] [C#]
It's gonna be a little difficult on the ground strings because [Am] you have the winding kind of grabs your [C#] pick, you know, so
[N] Don't dig in at all.
Just barely clip
Tip [F#] of the pick on the string,
[E] you know, you don't have to be real loud to do [D] this
[A]
I'll [F#m]
[D] [A]
play a little melody.
[N] I'm just a little melody just so you can watch my right hand here
[D]
[B] [A] [G] [A]
[F#] [G] [F#m]
[A] [Em] [F#m] [A] [G]
[C#m] [D#] [A] [C#m] [D]
[G]
You
Just really relax very relaxed and you don't want to do tremolo like this
[Cm]
[G] That's not the type of musical playing
[D] [B] [A]
[F#m] [F#] [G]
[C#] [D] [Em] [A]
[D#] [B] [F#m]
[D] [Bm] All right
It's just you're not gonna do it overnight nicely, you know, but just take a little bit of time You know
Do it for a couple of minutes and then do something [A#] else and then come back to it, you know
[F#] Now [C#m] [D]
[G] [F#m] [D] [B]
[A] [G] [B]
[G] that's going really slow tremolo there
[B]
[G] [B] Okay, [D] [G]
[B] [Gm] [D#] [G]
see you in a couple of weeks and we'll talk about it some more
