Please tell us your [N] favorite most fond memory in a recording studio.
I really had a thrill recording some of the stuff with you, Margot, with you playing
daughter Maitland in Boardwalk, which was so exciting.
Because not only were we doing
sort of a historical researched kind of project, but there was opportunity for us as the musicians
to improvise and kind of create stuff that we were imagining.
And I think case in point
was the scene that we, in which you're doing a monologue on stage before you sing St.
Louis
Blues.
And I remember them playing the footage of this in the actual studio and getting to
kind of improvise and listen to your monologue and react to it.
And then all of a sudden,
the spotlight is thrown on you and you start the song.
And we had actually recorded that
part already.
So it all came together in this way that was really kind of exciting.
And that's to date probably one of my favorite experiences doing, you know, recording.
