Thank you very much.
As Tom said a little earlier, I have been a writer on the show
since it began and I've really loved working on the show because [B] the people are beautiful
and talented and they have a lot of integrity and they do have a sense of responsibility
about what they present to you as entertainment [G] and we've done good things on this show.
We have
done some [B] great things but you haven't seen them because [E] of the censor.
The censor sits
somewhere between the scenes [B] to be seen in the television sets with a scissor purpose poised
[Am] watching the human stuff that [E] will sizzle through the magic [G#m] wires and light up like welding shops
the ho-hum rooms of America and with the kindergarten arts and crafts concept
of moral responsibility [N] snips out the rough talk the unpopular opinion or anything with teeth
and renders a pattern of ideas
