[A#] [F] Welcome to [N] Flashback Favorites.
I'm Music Mike.
Thanks for joining me again.
One of the best groups to come out of the Midwest during the 70s and early 80s is Cleveland, Ohio's Michael Stanley Band.
They played sellout concerts all over the heartland at great places like Cleveland's Coliseum or Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls.
Even though they had a hit single in 1980 called He Can't Love You, the Michael Stanley Band really never achieved national stardom.
They've got a fantastic catalog of music.
If you're not that familiar with the group, you really should go back and listen to some.
Today we're featuring one that came out in 1981, a single that only made it to number 68.
Featuring saxophone from Clarence Clements, here is the Michael Stanley Band with Lover on Flashback [E] Favorites.
