Hey, I'm back with another ukulele tutorial.
Yeah, okay, so today we're doing cliche,
if you can't tell by the title.
And cliche is actually pretty easy.
Today I'm gonna be going over the chords.
I don't have them written down,
so it literally took me forever
to try and figure out what they were again.
If one of them is slightly off,
eh, oh well, oh well.
Yeah, isn't that embarrassing?
The person who wrote the song doesn't even know the chords.
[A] So, okay, so today we're going over the chords for cliche.
I said that like three times now, but here goes nothing.
There are no picking or anything,
there's no picking or anything in the song.
So really the only thing that I'm gonna be going over
is chords and strumming pattern.
So yeah, it'll be pretty easy.
So the first chord for cliche is an A.
There's no capo or anything.
You don't need to tune your ukulele in weird ways
in order to play the song.
Yeah, but the first chord is an A, only two fingers.
So you have your first finger
on the first fret of the third string,
and then your second finger
on the second fret of the fourth string.
And there is the way that that looks.
Okay, so the next chord, see, okay,
I don't know the names of the chords either,
which is why I didn't write them down,
but you're just gonna bar the entire fourth fret.
And bar just means put your finger [C#m] all over all the things.
[A] And that's it.
So then there's a progression.
So it's like,
♪ I walked into the room and then I saw your face too ♪
♪ Looked me in the eye and then I wanted [G#] to [B] erase [Bm] myself ♪
You're just gonna basically slide [E] down.
So it's gonna be like.

Yeah, so there you go.
And there's only one more chord that you need to know,
which is an E7.
E7 is pretty simple.
it's just first finger on your first fret of the fourth string, second finger
on the second fret of the third string, and then your third finger on the second
fret of the first string.
All good?
All good.
So [A] let's just go over the poor
partition again.

[Bm] So

progression you want to do for the song, and you'll be good to go.
