Hello guys, this is Amosdollmusic, and in today's lesson, I'm going to teach you how to play
this song called Speechless by Naomi Scott from the movie Aladdin.
So here we go, I'll be teaching you how to play the beautiful [E] chorus section.
Goes like this, check it [F] out.
[C#] _ [F#m] _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _
_ [E] _ _ _ _ [C#m] _ _ _
[Bm] _ _ _ _ _ [C#m] _ _ [F#m] _
_ Repeat.
_ _ _ [F#] _ _
_ [D] _ _ _ [E] _ _ _ [C#] _
_ [C#m] _ _ [D] _ _ _ [Bm] _ [C#] _
[C#m] _ [F#m] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Beautiful [G#] stuff, let's learn it.
Melody and chords, [E] that's the foundation of a song.
From that you can add all these improvisations and decorations like that [N] into it afterwards.
So here we go.
Let's break it up into parts to learn it so it's easier to learn.
Ok, let me see.
First part goes like this, right hand starts on the A up here, middle C is here for reference.
Go up an octave to the C, go up to the A, that's where we start.
[F] Goes A, [A#] A, G [D] sharp, F sharp, up to C sharp, [C#]
E, C sharp, [D] B, A, down [E] to E, up to B.
And [N] that's it for the first part for the right hand.
Let's do it again, it goes like this.
[Dm]
A, [E] A, G [A] sharp, F sharp, up to C sharp, [G] E, [A] C sharp, B, A, down to E, up to B.
[E] That's it for the right hand.
Once you get that, left hand, three chords here.
Three chords are F [F#m] sharp minor, which is F sharp, A, C sharp.
Second chord is D [D] major, which is D, F sharp, A.
Third chord is [E] E major, which is E, G sharp,
B.
So with these three chords [C#] in mind, [F#] [D] F sharp minor, [E] D major, E major.
Two hands together, it goes [A] like this.
Right hand starts, _ [E] F sharp, [F#m] F sharp minor, together.
E and D major [D] together.
_ E and E major [E] together. _
Like that.
[A] One more time, it goes like this.
_ _ [F#m] Together, _ _ together.
[Bm] _ _ [E] _ _
_ Okay, now moving on to the second part.
[Gm] Right hand continues, it [E] goes A, B, B, A, down to E, E, [Bm] F sharp.
Okay, that's the second part.
Okay, let's record [E] that for the second part, and then we have the third part after that.
So one more time, it goes A, B, E, A, E, E, F sharp.
So there's a shorter part, the second part.
Okay, so that's right hand.
Left hand, two chords here.
The two chords are [C#m] C sharp minor, which is C sharp, E, G sharp, and second chord, D [D] major,
D, F sharp, A.
So with these three [C#m] chords in mind, it's C sharp [D] minor and D major.
[Bm] Two hands together, it goes like this.
So right hand [A] starts, B and [C#m] C sharp minor together.
_ Second E and [D] D major together. _
Like that.
[C#m] That's the second part.
One more time, it goes together, _ [D] together.
_ That's it [F#] for the second part.
So back [A#] to back, the two parts we've learned [A] so far will be played like this.
Check it out.
_ _ [F#m] _ _ _
_ [D] _ _ _ _ [E] _ _ _
[C#m] _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ Okay, [F#] and moving on to the third and [E] last part of this section.
Right hand goes [A] A, G sharp, F sharp, A, G sharp, F sharp, A, G sharp, G sharp, F sharp.
Just like that for the right hand.
One more time, it goes like this.
A, G sharp, F sharp, A, G sharp, F sharp, A, G sharp, G sharp, F [G#m] sharp.
So yeah, [E] it's the two groups of the A, G sharp, F sharps, and then the A, G sharp, G sharp, F sharp.
Okay.
Left hand, three chords here.
The three chords finishing is [Bm] B minor, which is B, D, F sharp.
Second chord is C [C#m] sharp minor, passing there.
So C sharp, E, G sharp.
And third and last chord here, F sharp [F#m] minor, which is F sharp, A, C sharp.
So with these three [Bm] chords in mind, B minor, [C#m]
[F#m] C sharp minor, and F sharp minor.
Two hands together, it goes like this.
Right hand [Bm] starts after F sharp, B minor by itself.
After F sharp, C sharp [C#m] minor by itself.
Second G sharp and F sharp minor [F#m] together.
Like that.
One more [Bm] time, it goes _
_ [C#m] _ [F#m] together.
_ That's it.
So back to back, all three [E] parts will be playing like this.
Check it out.
_ _ [F#m] _ _
_ [Bm] _ _ _ _ [E] _ _ _
[C#m] _ _ [A] _ _ [D] _ _ _ [Bm] _
_ _ [C#m] _ _ [F#m] _ _ Repeats.
_ _ _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _
[D] _ [E] _ _ _ [C#m] _ _ _ _
_ [D] _ _ [Bm] _ _ _ [C#m] _ _
[F#m] _ _ Yeah, [G#] that's it.
So once you get all these melody and block chords all good,
you [E] can start to add other improvisations and decoration into it to make it more awesome.
[A] Left hand for the chords, for example, you can [F#] do like octave bass notes and then arpeggio patterns. _
[D] Rhythmic patterns.
_ [E] _ _ _ That kind [F#m] of thing, okay?
And right hand can harmonize the bass on those chords underneath it to make it more thicker in texture.
You can do something like this.
_ _ _ _ [F#] _
[D] _ _ _ [E] _ _ _ _ [C#] _
[C#m] _ _ [D] _ _ _ [Bm] _ _ [C#] _
[C#m] _ [F#] _ _ _ [F#m] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [D] _ _ _ [E] _ _
_ [C#m] _ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _
[Bm] _ _ [C#] _ [C#m] _ _ [F#m] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Yeah, play around with it.
[A#] It's pretty awesome [N] stuff, okay?
