Hello [Abm] everyone [Dbm] and [G] welcome once again to JNR.
I'm Pat Prescott from CD 101 [Abm].9.
Thank you [N] so much for listening.
How many of you were with us this morning?
[Abm] [G]
You know I'm very tired.
I've been taxed today tremendously by two tremendous artists [D] who have [B] some wonderful new [A] holiday music for you.
And I think [G] you're going to really like it a lot.
If you don't have it you'll find it [Gm] here in the [Em] store on Columbia Records.
Breath of Heaven from Grover Washington Jr.
Songs of the Season [G] from Peter White.
Here's to my right.
They're going to play some of the music from those CDs [Db] for you live right here.
They promise that they will behave.
[Ab] I'll believe it when I [Dm] see it.
[Em] But they also promise that you [Dbm] should stick around [Ab] because they're going to hang out with you [E] and they're going to
What do you mean behave?
We didn't even say that.
[G]
He's [Gb] [Em] a naughty boy.
[Db] They're going to sign those CDs for you and talk to you and they're both just [G] two absolutely lovely people.
They love each and every one of you for supporting their music.
[Db] I guess I got the wrong script for this.
[A] But we're going to have some fun now [D] and enjoy the music [C] and have a good time as you always do at JNR.
[Db] And please don't let this be your last time.
Make sure you return.
But give us a please right now.
A [N] very, very warm welcome on guitar.
Peter White.
I'm going to tell you a story.
A long, long time ago, I won't tell you how long,
[Abm] I was [G] dating a girl and I was really trying to impress her with my [F] music.
[G] And she says, yeah, that's OK, but you've got to listen to this.
Why am I?
[E] [G] This is the stuff here.
Why am I?
Grover Washington.
I said, Grover Washington?
Who's Grover Washington?
I started listening and I got caught up in the [N] magic.
And it's my great honor for the very first time to be playing together.
Oh, my hair is going to look.
This [Db] is another song from my Christmas album.
And then I'll [G] give it over to Grover.
But this song is called Greensleeves, which is [N] written a long, long time ago.
Some people say it was written by King Henry VIII.
I don't know.
I [Am] think he probably [G] commissioned someone to write it and then probably chopped off their head.
And took the credit for himself.
I don't know.
[Gb] Many [C] years later, there were words added and [B] it became What Child is [C] This?
But I know it as [E] Greensleeves.
[G] Not quite as funky [F] as this.
