Piano Tutorial - Scary Piano chords
Start Jamming...
Hey, this is Sam.
I was asked by a person to
Do a little tutorial for scary piano movie, which is my most famous movie.
I guess I'm gonna show you how to play my
most famous
piano playing
Basically, it's pretty easy.
It's
Basically focused around the middle C
Hand position except you move your whole hand up one note
starts on a D
And goes all the way up to a B
[D#] But actually it doesn't go up to the quite the B it goes to the a
[A] Sharp or B flat.
I don't think there's an a sharp
So you're gonna basically the right [C#] hand goes
D
[D#] and
you hold that for a little while [Fm] as like as like a [F] creepy start and then you go up to
your
[F#] [F#m]
[C#]
[A#]
Then [C#] back to your then [A] you play your B flat [C#] and back to the
[A#m] You go your last note [F#] before you change your hand position is your G
[B]
Then you shift your whole hand [C#] down
from starting [G#] at the D to the C, [E] so you kind of use your middle finger and
[F]
The three fingers to the right of it so you [F#] go again
[B]
This time there's no sharp involved or flat [G#m] key involved.
[B]
[E] [B] You just repeat the pattern
It's just gonna be these three fingers
that you're gonna use you're not gonna use your pointing finger at all and
[N]
I never I realize that probably doesn't sound as scary as
the title may ensue
That's what well that's where the left hand comes in you're pretty much just gonna do
You're gonna cover all your notes with all fingers and you're only gonna use your thumb and your pinky
[F#]
Throughout the song and [Cm] then when you
[F] Shift your right hand down
One note you're just gonna shift this hand down so that your thumb is on C [C#] again
Here it is again in slow motion
[F#]
[C#] [F#m]
[C#]
[C#]
[E] [B]
[E]
Then you shift back up to start over you shift your left hand up one note and you shift your right hand up one
No, it should always start with your middle finger for your right hand
[C#]
[F#m] [C#] [F#]
[C#]
[F#m] [C#m]
[F#] [E]
[B]
[E]
Then of course there are variations you can [N] play um I just actually when I was relearning the song
was kind of a
Kind of a thing that I [F] found
Instead of [A#] just doing the plain old
[F#m] Note
[C#] [A] [C#] Back and forth you can do [F] a climb
Up to the note so [F#m] you go
[C#] [A] [C#]
[F#] [A]
[C#m] [F#]
[N] So when you go back to your D with your thumb you're [G#] just gonna climb
[A#] To the note that you're actually should be playing so start with [Cm] the note before that
[F] again
Pretty much sound like this when you play it with both hands
[F#] [C#]
[F#m] [C#]
[F#m] [C#]
And you can do both
[E]
[F#] [E]
[F#] [C#]
[B]
[E] [C#] [E]
[A] That's basically it you learn if you learn you can take it into
All the ways you want.
It's really I have learned
The first part of what I've done.
I don't know if I put the video on yet
[F]
So Sam Sam the Wiz signing off
