Today we have chords and progressions related to preaching chords in the key of A flat.
So let's go ahead and get started.
We're going to be in the key of A flat and let's go ahead and start with the scale.
So [Bb] A flat is the 1, [C] B flat is the 2, [Db] C is the 3, [Eb] D flat is the 4, [F] E flat is the 5, F
is [G] the 6, [Ab] G is the 7, then back at A flat with the 1.
So what we have here, we're going to, let's start off with just like a little lick.
[Abm]
[Db] So [Ab] I'm going to show you some different things, some different movements.
What we're going to do, we're going to start with that.
So
[Db] all [E] that is, is [F] roll the E flat to the E to the F, [Eb]
back to E [F] flat, roll it back to
F
[Eb] [Fm] [Ab] to [Db] A flat.
Then you're going to play the chord, A flat, E flat, G flat.
Right hand is B flat, D flat, F, A flat.
Then you can go to the 3.
[Ab]
A lot of times I like to do, all [Gb] I'm [Ab] doing is just taking this chord [Gb] and going down a whole set.
So before I play C and E on my left hand, my right hand is going to do A flat, D flat,
G flat.
[G]
Then I want to do A, D, [D] G.
[Ab] Then left hand is going to be C and E, right hand is B flat,
E flat, A [D] flat.
[Cm]
[Abm]
So left hand is D flat, A flat, D [Db] flat.
And I got [Abm] right hand E flat, A flat, B.
[F] [Bb] [F] [Gm]
