_ Okay, so now let's look at the modulation, reverb and delay.
First thing I'm going to look at the Boss Flanger.
_ I've got the manual set on zero, the resonant set on zero,
depth just passed halfway and the rate at halfway.
_ Let's play some chords with that. _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [A] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [A] _ _
[E] _ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [E] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [Eb] It's kind of a thick chorus and a bit like the Cure or the [F] Police kind of [C] vibe there,
but I barely use the flanger, mainly [D] use the chorus.
Let's get to now.
This is the Ensemble [Fm] King.
Level on full, depth _ _ two thirds of the way up, rate just below halfway.
It kind of gives you a classic CE2 style [C] chorus. _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _
_ _ [Am] _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ You crank [D] the depth and rate up, you get [C] more _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[A] _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _
lead lines kind of.
[E] _ _ [B] _ _ _
_ _ [Em] _ _ [B] _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ _ [C] _ _ [E] _
I use the chorus a lot.
I use it just _ _ _ to _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ thicken it a bit. _ _
So moving on, we've got the Flashback. _ _
Flashback has heaps of delays in it, lots of settings.
I tend to use one for _ this particular band, [A] _ _ which I've saved there,
which is based on the space echo.
_ _ _ [A] _
_ _ _ _ _ [Am] _ _ _
_ _ [A] _ _ _ _ [E] _ _
_ _ _ [F] _ _ [A] _ _ _
_ _ _ And I've [E] got that for _ _ dotted eighth notes.
I have a quarter note setting over here in case [A] I need something. _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [F] _ _
_ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [E] I tend to use that setting.
The long feedback, as you can hear, it's kind of [B] a let it ring out.
_ It kind of has this kind of halo on it, [A] so.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ It's [D] exacerbated by the reverb, which we'll now go to.
This is a cheap digi-reverb.
I think I got it for $50 on eBay.
_ I just [F] put it on the church setting, decay all the way, _ level and EQ to suit the room.
It's not great, but _ a nice long tail, [E] and I can kind of use it for chords
and _ for single note stuff.
_ _ _ [A] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ [A] _ _ _ _ _ _
And with a combination [B] of the boost, the delay, you can get some nice stuff.
_ _ _ _ _ _ [A] _
_ _ _ _ _ [Am] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Cm] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [A] _ _ _
_ _ [Am] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _ [Em] _
_ _ _ _ [Am] _ _ _ _
_ _ [A] _ _ _ _ [Am] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [C] _ _ [Em] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [E] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [Db] Yep, like I said in the first video, Telecaster, _ Friends of Lamp. _ _ _
This is not my kind of main board, _ [N] although I only actually have one pedal board.
I just have to change the pedals on it. _ _
So this has, you know, _ _ I use most of these pedals on my other boards, _ _ _
except usually not the big mouth, but I may try and integrate it.
I do [G] like how it sounds.
_ [Eb] _ _ _ _
Flashback's just great for, I just [Gm] might play a little bit on that.
Just [C] great for kind of dreamy stuff.
I can put it on my _ second setting, which has got analog with mod. _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [E] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [A] _ _ _ _ [E] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Em] _ _ _ _ _ _
[B] _ Nice. _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [N] _ _ _
