Welcome to another video by BA Music Ministry.
Today we [N] have chords progressions related to the anthem and this one's by William Murphy.
It's also done by Hillsong I believe.
So it's there's a couple different versions out there but I'm going to do the William
Murphy version which really all the versions are the same.
A lot of times what happens you have somebody do contemporary Christian music which is you
know a lot of times you find is based off of maybe white churches and [Gm] then you'll have
like gospel singers come in and kind of you [N] know do the same song but kind of [A#] remix it
that's what they deal with How [A] Great is Our [A#] God stuff like that and really you know it's
all the same a lot of times the progressions are the same a lot of times you might just
have a little bit more of a [A] gospel feel when a gospel [A#] artist does it [D] but nonetheless it's
still going to be the same.
So we're going to go ahead and get started.
We are in the key of D.
D is the [E] one, [D] E is the two, F sharp [Gm] is the three, G is [A] the four, [Bm] A is the five, B [F#] is
the six, C sharp [Dm] is the seven, and then [N] back at D with the one.
And this song is really simple you should pick this up really really quick.
All this does it starts off on the six [Bm] so we're going to start off on the six.
My left hand I got B if you want you can do B and D.
My right hand is F sharp, A, B, and D [A] to the seven so [B] you want six, [C#m] seven [D] to the one.
[Bm] [A] Now I got C sharp in my left hand if you want you can add an E.
My right hand is A, [B] B, [A] C sharp, E.
[Bm] [A]
[D] Now if you don't [Bm] have a bass player you just [A] play those simple notes like that on your
[Bm] left hand you ain't got to play two [C#m] notes.
[D] But, [D#] or you know you can also [B] do the octave.
[C#] B, C sharp octave, [D] D.
[C] That's if you don't have a bass player.
If you [Bm] got a bass player you can kind of play it up here play it up an octave.
B and D same thing same [A] chord.
C sharp, E.
My right hand is A, B, C sharp, E.
[D]
And then to the one I got just double up on the chords [F#m] D, E, F sharp, and F sharp.
[D] Right hand same thing D, E, F sharp, A.
[A] [D]
[N] [F]
[A#]
[F] [Gm] [N]
