Start Jamming...
For me it was an opportunity [Dm] that I could not pass up.
[B] I [Bb] gave so much of my life [B] to the guess who as [Bb] I was growing up.
When I left in 1970 I missed a lot of the [Bb] rewards [N] as far as acclimation and financial.
To be able to go back now and do it all again before I'm 40, which is not too far away.
And also Jim Cale, the same thing, we're both pushing 40.
To be able to go back and cheat time.
We call this our Rod Serling trip, our Twilight Zone tour of Canada.
We're cheating time, we're slicing 10 years out of our lives.
Going back I feel like I'm 25 again and I'm on stage.
It's something that not many people can do.
A lot of athletes would like to do that.
Be pushing 40 and go back and play a football game with the rest of the guys who are in their 20s.
And go out there and really kick butt and really do it.
We're really doing it and it feels great.
We're out on stage, I look around and I see Jim and [Gb] Gary and Burton.
And it's very hard not to laugh out loud.
With happiness, just blurt out and laugh and say, this is phenomenal.
Some of the feelings there, being there and having the people react to every song we play.
Even some of the new songs now sound like the old Guess Who songs.
We've been able to take new songs written last month or last year.
[Ab] And put our feelings and our identity into it and it still sounds like [B] the Guess Who.
