Yes.
The Spiritual Search for Growth Through Music.
For you, music is not just an artistic expression.
It is a spiritual experience.
And tell me what you mean by that.
Well, _ _ it's a long – it can go on forever.
But to me, everything is spiritual.
And a lot of times, something that you can't tangibly touch but you know is there.
Sometimes that can convey a whole lot more than what you can see.
And music to me is the perfect example of that, especially instrumental music,
because you can have your own definition of what I just said.
I can have mine, and we can both be right.
Tell us about the new CD.
It's just you playing like we just heard.
Exactly.
A solo bass for all this time.
Yeah, I originally did the CD.
It's called A Show of Hands.
And actually, there's a new version and an old version.
My first CD was called A Show of Hands, and I reissued it 15 years later,
an enhanced version with extra tracks.
But I just wanted to see if I could do it.
Could I make a statement that someone would listen to with one instrument,
no overdubs, and get someone to listen to it for a half an hour?
How many hours a day does it take to be able to play like that? _ _
_ _ Well, that's a good question.
It's really a gift [B] of God.
I'm going to put it into my campaign, and everyone will be able to play like that.
I don't know that answer.
I really don't know.
It's a gift from God, and you have such a remarkable gift.
It's unbelievable.
