[E] [A] Balcony TV!
[E] Hi [C#m]
everyone and welcome to this week's episode of Balcony TV Madrid.
Today James Mard couldn't be with us, so unfortunately you've got stuck with me, Grace, the host of the whole thing.
So basically we're in a totally different terrace today.
We're at the Vinci Hotel, The Mint, and we're very lucky to have with us today, We Are Scientists.
Welcome guys.
All right, thanks.
So what are you gonna sing for us today?
This is a song called Buckle.
Fantastic.
It's all yours.
[C] One, two, three.
[C#m]
How could this [E] take so long?
[A] It's been [E] ages there
[Em]
[C#m] And through these [E] wasted months
[A] Waited [E] patiently
[A] Until you made [E] me [C#]
say
Why not make [D] this [A] interesting
[F#m] I [Em] want [C#m] you to buckle [D] when you think [A] of me.
[F#m] I [C#] wish I could bottle [D] everything
[A] I [F#m]
[C#m] want you to buckle when you [D] [A] think of me.
[F#m] I [C#m] want you to buckle [E] when you say
[Em] [C#m]
You knew me [E] from afar
[A] What you made [E] of me
You [Em]
[C#m] prove that [E] I was wrong [A] about [D] [E] everything
And [A] you made [E] me [C#] say
Why not make [D] this [A] interesting
[F#m] I want [C#m] you to buckle [D] when you think [A] of me.
[F#m] I wish [C#m] I could bottle [D] everything
[A] You need.
[F#m]
I [C#m] want you to buckle [D] when you think [A] of me.
[F#m] I [E] want you to [C#] buckle [E] when you say
[Em] [B]
[E] [B]
[E]
[B] [Em]
[A] [G#m] Why [E]
[A] [E] [C#]
not keep [D] this [A] interesting [F#] I
Want [C#m] you to buckle [D] when you think [A] of me.
[F#] I
[C#] Wish I could bottle [D] everything [Am] you need
[F#]
[C#] I'm promising something [D] that I wish [Em] you'd [C#] see I
Want you to buckle [Dm] when you [A] think of me?
[F#] [C#] I
Want you to buckle [E] when you say
Wow, [G#]
thanks guys.
Thanks for that buckle moment together.
So what should we know about we are scientists?
Tell us a bit of something.
We are a
veteran act with a juvenile's heart
Fantastic do you like sangria?
Can you smell it on my breath?
Of course, I can't
Not at all.
You did an amazing performance.
You did amazing performance.
Thank you.
Thank you for that
About we are scientists.
Where did you guys start from?
Chris and I met in California, but the band is a New York City band
We we waited until we were in New York, which is the correct place to start a band
So, yeah, and the rest is history you're here with us today and what's next
But what's next for you guys so we got new album new projects where we're working on the next album now
So we're in the writing phases
So mainly it's things like having band meetings and saying what about an a chord and then Lee and then leaving for sangria
There's really constructive moments now where it's actually you get the answers with the sangria as opposed to in the meat in itself
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, then we come back and say it's got to be a flat and then we then we then we leave and go
Well, that sounds absolutely amazing.
So everybody stay tuned for new music from we are scientists then and thank you for coming today to
balcony TV and
Basically stay tuned for more episodes for balcony TV Madrid coming soon.
Thank you.
Thanks guys
