I think there's a high value in churches on performance, on productivity, on what we can [C#m] export.
But before any of that can take [E] place, we have to take it back to who are we.
We can't export what we haven't experienced and we can't pass on any freedom to people
that we haven't been freed from.
So Worship [C#m] Circle gives leaders really an opportunity to kind of strip [E] everything down,
to blow up everything they ever thought about what worship leading [A] was, and really just
[E] get back to being loved by God.
There's a lot of eyes and a lot of people watching us [C#m] and it can just create, without
even thinking about [E] it, just this culture of perfectionism.
Like you [A] almost say you are expected to be [E] perfect or to have it all figured out.
And the reality is that we are all human.
[C#m] Just like everybody else, we have the same [E] struggles and things that we're wrestling with.
And [A] Worship Circle is a really [E] fantastic place for worship leaders to come together, but
to [C#m] just be real and to kind of let down our walls.
[E] You know the two ways to learn, you can learn from experience, which is making [A] your own
mistakes, or you can [E] learn from the mistakes of others.
I think this allows for [C#m] access for people that are just coming along, [E] that maybe it'll
save them time and [A] failure.
It's not just [E] information.
You'll get information, you'll get equipping and encouragement, but it's [C#m] more of a transfer
of spirit almost.
I think Worship [E] Circle is so valuable to leaders [A] because not only is it [E] connecting you to someone
who is down the road from you, you know, on the journey, [C#m] it connects them together with
people who are doing exactly [E] what they're doing.
And I think that a lot of them just don't even realize how much [A] they need that.
[E] Originally, I thought Worship Circle was going to be a lot more tactical, [C#m] informational.
Honestly, in the end, it's been [A] a lot more [E] about learning about who I am, about who I
am as a daughter [C#m] of God, about who I am as a worship leader, who I am [E] as a person.
Worship Circle has definitely given me the [C#m] second wind to still believe in God's call
on my life and then just [E] to run with it.
There's great strength that you find [C#m] in community with one another.
And [E] when you realize that a lot of the issues and the problems and the frustrations [C#m] that
you have as a worship leader, they're not [E] isolated to just you and your location, but
there are other worship leaders, other worship pastors that are out there that are thinking
about you, that are there to love you.
If you are [C#m] in ministry, you know and you understand that you are [E] pouring out a lot.
And this provides [A] a safe place [E] for not just accountability, but where there's someone
pouring into you.
[C#m] Worship leaders, I know that week after week you're seen by a lot of people.
[E] But more than that, you're seen by your Heavenly Father.
[A] We want you to know that you're loved [E] by Him, you're not alone, and to prove it, we want
to come around you as community.
We want you to know that [C#m] in your lifetime, you have the ability, because of the [E] power
that raised Jesus from the dead, His Spirit in you, to [A] deal a mighty blow to [C#m] the enemy,
for you to be grounded in [E] love, in peace, in the freedom that He brings through the
cross, [A] and to [E] export that to all the people you stand before.
You are more than a song singer, you are more than a performer.
And [C#m] our hope for you is that you jump into this stream, [E] because we're way stronger together
than we are separated.
