Chords for What mics do I use? Also --- Redeemed

[C] Hi folks, since I started doing these tune Tuesdays back in January a lot of folks have
been asking me about the microphones that I use and I'm going to show them to you now.
_ I use these old Neumann _ KM254 microphones and they're exactly the same as the 54s
but they've got a little better connection piece right here and these are from the 60s I think
and these are [N] really they're a high-end microphone and they're very good quality.
I love the sound I get out of these.
A lot of guys here in Nashville have their own microphones that
they take to recording sessions and a lot of them choose the _ _ KM254s or the 54s and the other
essential part of my sound is the mic preamp that I use here.
These are API 512Cs.
I have a pair of
those and then a pair of 550B EQ units and I tend to roll off the mids and the low end a little bit
because the room I record in is a little bit it kind of accentuates _ those tones. _
So anyway there you go that's what I use and I run it through Pro Tools
and I'm going to play an old hymn for you now this is called Redeemed. _
