Hi guys, here's a tutorial [D#] for a way of playing [E] Ticket to Ride by The Beatles from Help [E] soundtrack
This one's pretty [A] easy
Main riff starts on A, basically goes on an A
And then releasing the second string of the A to make an ASUS2
on and off
Basic riff if you want to do that sort of intro bit
oops
Now basically you're just playing the
Third, first, second, third and open up the second string [E] hit it and then back to the first
[A] [F#]
[A]
But if you want [A] to just strum it
Make your plectrum more or less hit those strings
Think I'm gonna be sad
Think it's a day
The good that's driving me mad is going on
[F#] to a B minor
[E] Do a D
Alright [A] so A to ASUS2
[Bm] B minor to [E] E
[F#m]
She's
[A] Coming up to an F sharp minor [F#m] here
She's got a ticket [D] to ride
D back to the F sharp [F#m] minor
She's got a ticket [D] to ride
That's a D [B] major
So basically you're just gonna [E] bar across the top three strings in the second fret and just play one strum to ring it [A] out
Back to the F sharp minor
[F#m] She's got a [E] ticket to ride
Back to the E or an E7 if you like that sound better.
I do a bit of both but
But she don't [A] care
Back into the main riff again.
Alright, that's half [F#] the song
the other part you need is [D] the
Don't know why she's riding so high
And that's just going from D to E
[E] D back to E [D] again
Don't know why she's riding so high
Should've think twice, should've do [E] right by me
[D] Boy she gets to saying goodbye
Should've think twice, should've do right [E] by me
One strum on the E
There's a little solo bit there.
I don't really know what it is, but I would just go you know first second third fourth [Em] first
[E] [F#] Something like that.
I've got no idea what [A] it is.
I'm not really a lead [E] person but
[A] Back into the A
Close enough anyway
If you do want to do that for [E] some strange reason
first second third fourth [Em] first
third fret on the E string
open back on
[C] Hammer onto the pick
[E] release
open
[D] And then third on the second [B] string
Yeah
[F#] You gotta put something there I suppose
[A] And then back into the main riff again
Girl that's driving me mad
Is [F#m] going to be [E] the end Oh
[F#m]
She's got a [D] ticket to ride
[F#m] She's got a ticket to [A] ride
[F#m] She's got a [E] ticket to ride
She's got a ticket to ride
But she [A] don't care
And then right at the end
My baby don't care Same
My baby don't care
So you can see pretty easy A, Asus2
[E] B minor to E
F [D] sharp minor to D
F sharp minor D major
[E] F sharp minor E
[A] A
[D] And then the D
Don't know why she's riding so hard [E] To E
D
To E
Anyway that's all there is to Ticket to Ride
Quite [Am] a simple song and um
A beautiful John Lennon
