[Bm] Hi guys
All right, I'm caving into pressure
all the [G] demands for a
tutorial for Angie by the Rolling Stones [Ab] and
Right.
I just want to stress straight up front.
[G] This is just the way I [Ab] play it.
It's probably wrong.
Okay, I
Really don't know how it really is played.
It's just the way that I kind of figured out a version for myself
[E] So if you like it great, if you don't [G] go and look at another tutorial, right?
Got that out of the way
[Am] It's basically [G] just the same sequence running through the whole [F] song
[Am] The chords are basically a minor
[E] in B7
[G] G
[C]
F or F [F] major 7 and [C]
C.
I don't think [Em] there's any other chords in it other than [Ab] that
But there's just a little with the intro part
You're gonna be hitting the other little notes and making little runs in here to make it [Bm] sound a bit more easy
So this is the way I do the intro
I'll just play it once for [Am] you
[E]
[D] [G]
[F] [D] [C]
[Am]
Okay, which is basically just going between A [E] minor E7
Now [G] the two chords would be G [Am] and F or F major [D] 7.
Now as you know you can play [G] G
[F] F like [G] that bar chords.
So bearing [Em] that in mind
You're only going to be [G] with this little bit
[Bb] [F]
[G] part on the G
You're just going to be playing the second third and fourth strings here
So [D] fret the second string on the [G] third fret
Third string on the fourth fret
fourth [Bm] string on the fifth fret
[G]
You're gonna be using your pinky on the third string to go on to the fifth fret and off
like that.
Alright then slide the whole formation down [Dm] two [D] and
Pinky [G] again onto the third
String this time it'll be the [Bb] third fret
[Dm]
[G]
[F] Release okay
Bring the [Am] third finger then [Bm] up onto the fourth string to make an A 7
No, A minor [Am] 7
Then [Em] the [D] third back down on the second [C] and C
[Am] So basically you get this
[C] [D] [C] You're walking down from an F to a C [F] effect
[C] And [F] [Em] [D]
[C] then I just do a play the fifth fourth third
[G]
Then third finger comes up onto the fifth string second [Bm] fret then [Dm] back into A [Am] minor Alright
[G] Right.
I didn't show you the very start either did I?
So the A [Am] minor
Just fret onto the E string there on the third
also then third [E] on to the [Bm] third
third fret second [Am] string
to [E] an E
And then pinky again comes back onto that third fret second string
Make an E7
All [Am]
[E]
[G]
[Am] [D] [C]
[G] [Am]
right, if I spend too much [D] time going on that [Ab]
intro part you hear all day.
So
Anyway, so [G] the first verse is basically just using those [Am] same chords
[E]
E7 [G] G when [F] those clouds all F major 7 [Am] disappear
[C] And that little [F] sample run down from the intro I do there
[Am] [D] [C] [G] [Am]
[E]
[G]
danger
Where will [F] they lead us from [Am]
here?
[C] Okay, right [D] with [G] no loving in our souls cheap [Dm] and no money D minor
In [Am] our coats a minor
[C] Into [Am] a C from the a minor.
I often just walk up to the C
Just putting my third finger [Bm] off the fourth string putting it up onto the fifth just plucking it [G] then going to the [C] C
You [F] can see where F
[G] Satisfied G
[Am] the danger
[E] [G]
G you [F] can see we never try
[C]
And then it's basically just [Ab] repeating that whole sequence for the next verse
[G] Even the solo I think uses the same chords and a couple more verses all the same
[Am] Alright, so this is a minor
Pinky on to third fret on the first [Ab] and second strings if you like [E] a
and then a 7
[G] G
[Am] F major 7
[D] [C]
[F] major 7
[C]
See you don't [Bm] have to do those little bits in the [Ab] middle if you don't want I do but you don't have to
That's all that's all it's not that hard
You don't have to do all those little runs, but you can pick that up as you become more familiar with the song
So there you go.
I fulfilled my [G] obligations
I've done my Andy tutorial and I hope [Bm] that's enough for you to get started with it.
