Today I'm going to show you _
two runs in the key of D flat _
One of these runs you can use I guess when you say like the spirits getting high
And you just want to throw in a lick here there and the other one can be used in different songs
I'm going to give you an example of a song that it could be used in.
Let's start with the first one first
_ This is kind of like when the spirit, you know is getting high
_ [Dbm] _ Just want to throw in a lick
[Bbm] _ _ _ _ [Db] _ _ [Ebm] _ _
_ That's the lick right there.
[Bb] I'm doing two hands _ _
[Db] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ Okay, [C] I like to do it with two hands sometimes because it makes you sound [Bb] more fuller, you know
[Eb] _ _ You know, but if you want to do it one, that's fine, too

It's just you know basic you're gonna start with your thumb
[Abm] It's real easy
on A flat
_ And then you're gonna go to with your two [Ebm] or your index finger _
to B flat
_ And you just follow it on down or on up to [Db] D flat _ and then to [Bbm] E flat
_ _ [Abm] And then you just slide you're gonna hit it and slide
[Em] _ _
_ to E
_ _ [B] _ [F] _
_ _ [A] _ _ [Ab] _ [Ebm] _ _ [Gb]
So that E flat is gonna get hit twice.
Okay
_ [Gb] _ _
[Em] _ _ _ Consecutively, okay, and then you're gonna go back [Ebm] to E flat
_ _ And then to the D [Dbm] flat and _ then to [Bbm] the B flat _ _ _
[Ab] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Gb] _ _ [Db] _ _ _
Once [Abm] again, I'm gonna start on A flat
to B [Bbm] flat _
D flat
_ [Bb] E flat _
And you're gonna hit [B] E flat again and slide to E
_ _ And back down to E flat
_ to D [Bbm] flat and
B flat
[Ebm] And you're gonna resolve [Gb] on D flat

[Db] _ _ _ Okay, that's something that you can use, you know, wherever you feel like putting it
[A] Okay, and then the next one I'm going to show you is a run that can be used in many different songs
