Hey there guitar buddies, let's check out cool and the gang and celebration
okay, so it starts with an a flat octave and
played funky so
[G#] So [G#m]
[G#]
what so I'm just playing [F] six there and nine six on the D string nine on the B string
So that's an a flat and a flat and I'm using my second finger [N] just to mute the strings
So I'm just not pushing down at all with my second finger.
That's just laying there and also my little fingers also dampening
the a string and
so
[G#] So [N]
I'm playing up and down with my hand my right hand.
So
And then just pushing the notes
when I want them to sound [G#] so
Get that every note in there
It's harder to play it slow
[D]
Okay, so [F] it's a great little exercise [G] for your funky right [G#] hand
muted style so having those little chugga chugga notes
[N] Really drives that rhythm along and then there's a over that there's a little guitar lick
[B]
[G#] [B]
So [A#] [B] I'm just playing a little
[G#] double [F#] stop bend there
So [G#] [C] I'm bending on the [G] B flat
[A#] Just
[Cm] [B]
[C] up to the C
[B] I'm
[G#m] [G] not quite bending all the [B] way
and then
[G#] [B] Then I'm releasing
[D#m]
back to the B flat
[G#] and [A#] playing A flat
B flat A flat
9 11 9
so bending on [B] 11
bend and [A#] release
A flat B flat [B] with that
[G#m] and [D#] then followed by
B flat C E [B] flat
So [G#] [B]
[G#] just [N] just 11 13 11
Okay, so that's the little intro section there and then if you want to know what the brass is playing if you want to throw [Bm] that in
G [F] [B] [D]
[G#]
[A#] flat F [Bm] [B] a
flat [F#m] D flat
[Fm]
[C#] C [D#m] D flat E [G#] flat A flat
Okay, and then the keyboard comes in now [C#] with this
[F#]
[Fm] [D] [C#] [F#] [F#]
[Fm] Okay, so what I'm playing there is a
D flat F
[F#] A flat D [C#] flat
3 1 2 on the D G and B strings [F#] and
2 on G flat so G flat B flat D flat
[C#] [F#] Then [Fm]
back to the D flat chord
[F#] G [Fm] flat D flat A flat
[F#]
[Fm] [F#]
[Fm] [E] Okay, [F#]
and then the chords for the verse
[C#] [G#] [F#] So
[C#] [G#] [D#m]
[C#] [G#] I'm playing [F#] them a
G flat [G#] with an A flat in the bass
so four four [F#] three two [G#] on the
E D G and B [F#] strings
So it's [G#] that but with an A flat in the [F#] bass
They're going on [C#] around D [G#] flat A flat
[C#]
[G#] [F#] [C#]
[G#] [F#] [C#]
[G#] [F#] So [C#]
[G#] [F#] [C#] celebrate and [G#] have a good time
[G#m] And then the guitar kind of comes in
Play some little octaves on a flat this time right of the neck
so I'm playing 13 and
16 on the G and E string so it's a flat again, but an octave higher
But you can also sort of put in some octaves [F#] down here because that's the keyboard playing that
[C#] so [G#] you could [C#] put
[G#] That's kind of what I'd play if I was playing in a band and then we've got this section
[Fm] [D#]
[F]
[C#]
[F#] Together
Okay, [Fm]
[C] [C#] [F#] [Fm] [F#] [Fm]
so those chords are D flat major 7
[B] C [Cm]
minor 7
[D#] And E flat but with an F in the bass
It's up to you
[A#] So that's just a bar across [D#] eight it's up to you
[F] then F
[A#m] B flat minor
[C#] then D flat with an E flat [F] in the bass, so that's just a [C#] bar across six
and [A] then back to
[C#]
[F#] [Fm] Okay, [F#] [Fm] [Bm]
so it's a it's a great tune and a lot of fun to play enjoy
okay, so it starts with an a flat octave and
played funky so
[G#] So [G#m]
[G#]
what so I'm just playing [F] six there and nine six on the D string nine on the B string
So that's an a flat and a flat and I'm using my second finger [N] just to mute the strings
So I'm just not pushing down at all with my second finger.
That's just laying there and also my little fingers also dampening
the a string and
so
[G#] So [N]
I'm playing up and down with my hand my right hand.
So
And then just pushing the notes
when I want them to sound [G#] so
Get that every note in there
It's harder to play it slow
[D]
Okay, so [F] it's a great little exercise [G] for your funky right [G#] hand
muted style so having those little chugga chugga notes
[N] Really drives that rhythm along and then there's a over that there's a little guitar lick
[B]
[G#] [B]
So [A#] [B] I'm just playing a little
[G#] double [F#] stop bend there
So [G#] [C] I'm bending on the [G] B flat
[A#] Just
[Cm] [B]
[C] up to the C
[B] I'm
[G#m] [G] not quite bending all the [B] way
and then
[G#] [B] Then I'm releasing
[D#m]
back to the B flat
[G#] and [A#] playing A flat
B flat A flat
9 11 9
so bending on [B] 11
bend and [A#] release
A flat B flat [B] with that
[G#m] and [D#] then followed by
B flat C E [B] flat
So [G#] [B]
[G#] just [N] just 11 13 11
Okay, so that's the little intro section there and then if you want to know what the brass is playing if you want to throw [Bm] that in
G [F] [B] [D]
[G#]
[A#] flat F [Bm] [B] a
flat [F#m] D flat
[Fm]
[C#] C [D#m] D flat E [G#] flat A flat
Okay, and then the keyboard comes in now [C#] with this
[F#]
[Fm] [D] [C#] [F#] [F#]
[Fm] Okay, so what I'm playing there is a
D flat F
[F#] A flat D [C#] flat
3 1 2 on the D G and B strings [F#] and
2 on G flat so G flat B flat D flat
[C#] [F#] Then [Fm]
back to the D flat chord
[F#] G [Fm] flat D flat A flat
[F#]
[Fm] [F#]
[Fm] [E] Okay, [F#]
and then the chords for the verse
[C#] [G#] [F#] So
[C#] [G#] [D#m]
[C#] [G#] I'm playing [F#] them a
G flat [G#] with an A flat in the bass
so four four [F#] three two [G#] on the
E D G and B [F#] strings
So it's [G#] that but with an A flat in the [F#] bass
They're going on [C#] around D [G#] flat A flat
[C#]
[G#] [F#] [C#]
[G#] [F#] [C#]
[G#] [F#] So [C#]
[G#] [F#] [C#] celebrate and [G#] have a good time
[G#m] And then the guitar kind of comes in
Play some little octaves on a flat this time right of the neck

[Fm] [D#]
[F]
[C#]
[F#] Together
Okay, [Fm]
[C] [C#] [F#] [Fm] [F#] [Fm]
so those chords are D flat major 7
[B] C [Cm]
minor 7
[D#] And E flat but with an F in the bass
It's up to you
[A#] So that's just a bar across [D#] eight it's up to you
[F] then F
[A#m] B flat minor
[C#] then D flat with an E flat [F] in the bass, so that's just a [C#] bar across six
and [A] then back to
[C#]
[F#] [Fm] Okay, [F#] [Fm] [Bm]
so it's a it's a great tune and a lot of fun to play enjoy

_ _ _ _ _ _ _

_ [A#] Just _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Cm] _ [B] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[C] up to the C
[B] _ I'm _ _
_ [G#m] _ [G] not quite bending all the [B] way _ _
_ _ _ and then _ _ _
_ [G#] _ _ [B] Then I'm releasing
[D#m] _
back to the B flat
[G#] and _ _ _ [A#] playing A flat
B flat A flat
9 11 9
so bending on [B] 11
bend _ _ _ and [A#] release
_ _ A flat B flat [B] with that
_ [G#m] and _ [D#] then followed by
_ B flat C E [B] flat
So [G#] _ _ [B] _ _ _
[G#] _ _ just [N] just 11 13 11
_ Okay, so that's the little intro section there and then if you want to know what the brass is playing if you want to throw [Bm] that in

[A#] flat F [Bm] _ [B] a _ _
flat [F#m] D _ flat
_ [Fm]
[C#] C [D#m] D flat E [G#] flat _ A flat _

_ [F#] _ _ _
[Fm] _ _ [D] _ _ [C#] _ [F#] _ _ [F#] _
[Fm] _ _ _ _ Okay, so what I'm playing there is a
D flat _ _ F
[F#] A flat D [C#] flat _
_ 3 1 2 on the D G and B strings [F#] and
_ 2 on G flat _ so G flat B flat D flat
_ [C#] [F#] Then _ [Fm] _ _ _
back to the D flat chord
[F#] G [Fm] flat D flat A flat
[F#] _ _ _ _
_ [Fm] _ _ _ _ _ [F#] _ _
_ [Fm] _ _ [E] _ _ Okay, [F#]
and then the chords for the verse _ _ _
_ [C#] _ _ [G#] _ [F#] So _ _
_ _ [C#] _ [G#] _ _ _ [D#m] _ _
_ _ [C#] _ _ [G#] I'm playing [F#] them a
G flat [G#] with an A flat in the bass
so four four [F#] three two [G#] on the
E D G and B [F#] strings
_ _ _ So it's [G#] that but with an A flat in the [F#] bass
They're going on [C#] around D [G#] flat A _ flat
_ [C#] _ _
[G#] _ _ [F#] _ _ _ _ [C#] _ _
[G#] _ _ [F#] _ _ _ _ [C#] _ _
[G#] _ _ [F#] So _ _ [C#] _ _
[G#] _ _ [F#] _ _ [C#] celebrate and [G#] have a good time

[C#] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [F#] Together
Okay, _ _ [Fm] _ _ _
[C] _ _ [C#] _ [F#] _ _ [Fm] _ [F#] _ [Fm] _
_ _ _ so those chords are _ _ _ _ D flat major 7
[B] C [Cm] _ _
minor 7
_ _ [D#] And E flat but with an F in the bass
It's up to you
[A#] So that's just a bar across [D#] eight it's up to you
[F] _ then F
_ [A#m] B flat minor _
[C#] then D flat with an E flat [F] in the bass, so that's just a [C#] bar across six
and [A] then back to
[C#] _
[F#] [Fm] Okay, [F#] _ [Fm] _ _ [Bm] _ _ _
_ so it's a it's a great tune and a lot of fun to play enjoy _ _ _
_ okay, so it starts with an a flat octave and
played funky so
[G#] So _ _ [G#m] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [G#] _ _ _
_ _ _ what so I'm just playing [F] six there and nine six on the D string nine on the B string
So that's an a flat and a flat and I'm using my second finger [N] just to mute the strings
So I'm just not pushing down at all with my second finger.
That's just laying there and also my little fingers also dampening
_ the a string and _ _
so
[G#] _ So _ _ [N] _
I'm playing up and down with my hand my right hand.
So
_ And _ _ _ then just pushing the notes
when I want them to sound [G#] so
Get _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
that every note in there
It's _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
harder to play it slow
_ _ _ [D] _
_ _ _ _ _ Okay, so [F] it's a great little exercise [G] for your funky right [G#] hand
_ muted style so having those little chugga chugga notes
_ [N] Really _ drives that rhythm along and then there's a over that there's a little guitar lick
_ [B] _
_ _ [G#] _ _ _ _ _ [B]
So _ [A#] _ _ _ _ [B] I'm just playing a little
_ [G#] double _ _ [F#] stop bend there
So [G#] _ _ [C] I'm bending on the [G] B flat
_ [A#] Just _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Cm] _ [B] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[C] up to the C
[B] _ I'm _ _
_ [G#m] _ [G] not quite bending all the [B] way _ _
_ _ _ and then _ _ _
_ [G#] _ _ [B] Then I'm releasing
[D#m] _
back to the B flat
[G#] and _ _ _ [A#] playing A flat
B flat A flat
9 11 9
so bending on [B] 11
bend _ _ _ and [A#] release
_ _ A flat B flat [B] with that
_ [G#m] and _ [D#] then followed by
_ B flat C E [B] flat
So [G#] _ _ [B] _ _ _
[G#] _ _ just [N] just 11 13 11
_ Okay, so that's the little intro section there and then if you want to know what the brass is playing if you want to throw [Bm] that in
G [F] _ [B] _ [D] _
[G#] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[A#] flat F [Bm] _ [B] a _ _
flat [F#m] D _ flat
_ [Fm]
[C#] C [D#m] D flat E [G#] flat _ A flat _
_ Okay, and then _ the keyboard comes in now [C#] with this
_ [F#] _ _ _
[G#] _ _ [F#] _ _ [C#] celebrate and [G#] have a good time
[G#m] _ And then the guitar kind of comes in
Play some little octaves on a flat this time right of the neck
so I'm playing 13 and
16 on the G and E string so it's a flat again, but an octave higher
_ But you can also sort of put in some octaves [F#] down here because that's the keyboard playing that _
[C#] so [G#] _ you could [C#] put
[G#] That's _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ kind of what I'd play if I was playing in a band and then we've got this section _
_ [Fm] _ _ _ _ [D#] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [F] _ _ _ _
