Today, we're going to do a lesson song entitled Life in Favor by John P.
Key.
This song is in the key of E.

And so we'll begin from the top. _

Starting with the top [Db] here, you'll notice they'll do a walk down.

So what we're going to do here is we're going to give you the walk down starting here.

_ _ Left hand, we have C sharp _ and the A flat.
_ And in the right hand, we have C sharp, F, A flat.
And occasionally you'll see me throw in the E flat. _ _
Okay.
_ _ _ And right there, we just have a little movement from the C to the C sharp. _
Okay.
The next [Bbm] chord, _ left hand, B flat, F, _ right hand, A [Fm] flat, C, [Bbm] C sharp, F.
_ And what you see me do [Ebm] here.
_ _ _ [Db] _ _ [Ebm] _
_ _ [Fm] _ _ _ So we'll give you that.
_ In the left [Ab] hand, we want to play the F [Gb]
sharp.
Okay.
Octaves.
In the right hand, this is the movement that we [F] want to do.

And you'll see me roll from the E flat to the F [Bb] like so.

_ And also pinky on the B flat as well.
Okay.
The trick here is _ simultaneously as pressing the [Gb] chord,
you want to roll off the E flat to the F like so. _

And I'm using my index finger, whatever is more comfortable for you.
However, you want to do the chord.
But, [Gb] _ _ [Ebm] all right.
And then the next [Fm] chord.
_ _ [Db] _ _ _ All right.
[Ebm] _ _ _ _ [Fm] Drop down to the F in the left hand.
_ And we're rolling off of the C sharp to the E flat.
_ _ _ Okay.
A flat, octaves.
_ Okay.
Again.
[Db] _
_ [Fm] C, [Db] C sharp.
Okay.
And then here [Ebm] we go.
_ _ Last chord.
Left hand.
E flat.
Octaves.
Right hand.
F sharp, B flat, C sharp, and F sharp again. _

And then [Ab] we resolve here. _

And that chord is left hand.

And you'll notice [Bbm] occasionally, once we go [F] here, I drop down a half step to [Abm] get here.
_ You know, just a passive [Db] movement just to get you there.
