I'm going to try to show you a couple rhythms here, kind of latin-y rhythms.
The first one is called the begin.
[Em]
[Am] [C]
[Am] [Dm]
[G] [Dm]
[G] [C]
So that one I'm taking a C major 7.
My index is barring all the strings at the 3rd fret.
And my 3rd finger is getting 4th string 5th fret.
My 2nd finger is getting 3rd string 4th fret.
My pinky is getting 2nd string 5th fret.
I'm hitting the 5th string with my thumb.
The index middle ring is on the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd [Db] strings.
[C] Then, I go up to the 6th string.
[G] And then hit those.
[C] And this is back and forth.
[A] Then I go up to [Em] the C major 6.
My 2nd finger gets the 5th string [N] 3rd fret.
My index bars the 4th and 3rd string at the 2nd fret.
[Gb] And the pinky stays where [B] it was at.
So I hit the 5th string, do the [Am] same rhythm.
This [F] time I take my 2nd finger and get the 6th [Am] string 3rd fret.
[G]
Do that alternating.
[Am] [E]
[C] C major 7.
[Am] [E]
[C] [Am]
[E] Then I go [F] up to a D minor 7.
[B] 3rd finger is on the 5th string 3rd fret.
And my index is [N] barring the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd string at the 3rd fret.
And my pinky gets the 3rd string at the 5th fret.
This time I'm just going to stay on that 5th string.
[Eb] I'll do that same rhythm.
[Dm]
[Bb] Then [F]
I bar [D] all the strings at the 3rd fret.
I have my 2nd finger on the 3rd string [E] 4th fret.
It's a G7 chord.
Instead of doing the whole chord, you just do a partial [N] chord.
I'm hitting the 6th string.
I'm hitting these 3 strings again.
4th, 3rd, and 2nd.
[G] D
[E] minor 7.
[Dm]
[N] [G] G7.
[Dm]
[Ab] You can do it [Em] once.
You do each [F] one.
Let me see [C] once.
C major 7.
[Am] C major [E] 6.
[Am]
C major [D] 6.
[Dm] D minor 7.
[G] G7.
[Dm]
[C]
Yeah, so it's C major 7.
[Am] C major 6.
[Am] Do that twice.
And this [Dm] one.
D minor 7.
[G] G7.
[Dm] [D]
D minor 7.
Now [F] the other one I'm going to do is a tangle rhythm.
[A]
[Dm]
[D]
[Gm]
[Dm] [A]
[Dm] [A]
[Dm] [N] And that keeps going.
And it was sunny out, so I hope this ain't too cloudy.
This one I take a D minor chord at the 5th fret.
I index, bar, and all the strings at the 5th fret.
My 3rd finger gets the 4th string, 7th fret.
Pinky gets 3rd string, 7th fret.
And my 2nd finger gets the 2nd [F] string, 6th fret.
[Eb] And then I'm just going [Dm] 1, 2, 3, 4.
1, 2, 3, [C] 4.
And I hop up to an A7, which I'm still barring all of them at the 5th fret.
3rd finger gets the 5th string, 7th fret.
And the [Fm] 2nd finger gets 3rd string, 6th fret.
And I [A] go back to D major.
[Dm] Now I go to D major.
[D] [N] 1st finger is getting the 5th string, 5th fret.
And the 3rd finger is getting the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd string at the 7th fret.
And to a G minor, I'm barring all of them with my index at the 3rd fret.
And then my 3rd finger gets the 5th string, 5th fret.
And my pinky gets 4th string, 5th [Gm] fret.
[E]
[D] [A]
[D] [Gbm]
[Dm] All
[A]
[Dm]
[D]
[Gm]
[Dm] [A]
[Dm] [A]
[Dm] [Bb] right, thanks.
