[F#] You know cross Canadian ragweed has proudly carried the Oklahoma red dirt banner all across the country.
They're going on 15 years now.
But make no mistake, these guys are a rock band.
Cody and the boys have come a long way from the early days in Yukon, [A] Oklahoma and they've
developed a sound [B] that is uniquely their [A] own.
51 [B] Pieces is actually a pretty funny story.
We had a gig in [A] Cleveland and [F#] at the House of Blues and it sold out [A] like a week in advance.
We [B] never get sell out shows like that, [E] you know, House of Blues that far away.
So we're really excited to get up there and did the gig, great show.
[A] Met a cat that owns [E] a bowling alley right next door.
[B] And he said after the gig why don't you guys come over and we'll do whatever you want,
you [E] know, free booze, smoke, whatever you guys want to do.
[B] So we went over there and [A] listened to the Stones as loud [D] as it would go and we [B] bowled
and drank and had a good time.
Hopped back in the bus, [F#]
bus call was 4 o'clock, we got there like [A] 4.15. and then we got [F#] pulled over at 5.15. Some of us were in bed, some of us weren't and the [A] cops busted in. Threw Randy on the couch, started ransacking everything [F#] and they were [A] jerks. And we kind of calmed them down and said, you know, we're nice folks, [Em] leave us alone, you know, we'll cooperate. And they found enough [B] paraphernalia [E] to haul off 51 pipes [B] and they got a kick out of it. They was like, you know, there's 10 of you [A] on the bus and 51 [E] pipes, which was actually 58. [B] They missed them. Yep, sure did. They missed [E] them. One night the lyrics [B] popped up and I got with Mickey Braun, really [A] stuck on a [E] chorus and he said, how many people's on the bus? I said [B] 10. And he said, never occurred to me, 10 out of 10 could go [A#] free. So [Bm] rolled from there. [A]
[C] [A]
Oh, H-I-O-S-H-P, [C] had a quota bill that quota was me. [Am] And I'm not [E] that H-O-B, [A] 51 piece on South Road. [Em] Francis Ford and Mary Jane, didn't keep that bullet plain. I'm cool until the sun up came, 51 piece on South Road. [F] [C] Never occurred [A] to me, [F] 10 out of 10 would go [D] free. 51 pieces on the side of [Em] the road. [A]

[Em] So show that you never know, swing up high, you're gonna come [A] down low. Watch your back in Ohio, 51 pieces on the side of the road. [Em] Would it [F] never [A] occur to me, [Em] 10 out of [C] 10 would go [D] free. 51 pieces [G] on the side of the road. [A] [C]
