The bass is not like a Chet Atkins type alternating bass is just and I'm muting the bass with this part of my hand

You [Bm] know, he's seven [F#m] and then an F sharp minor _ [E] and
Then an e7 or actually it'd be a ninth chord there _

You can let them sustain, you know, or dampen them.
