Hello to you, my name is Francois.
And I'm Randy Robertson.
We are with Channel 13 KSAD.
Otherwise known as KSAD.
Welcome to our behind the scenes of jewelry.
_ _ _ [Fm] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [Cm] _ _ _
It's so [F] hard being told what to [Eb] do, you know?
It's kind of like herding cattle, and I'm the [C] cattle.
I don't want any more pressure.
My brother Ben.
Let's go guys!
He's got a lot of pressure.
[G] I just want to wear my bright orange.
_ Straightened hair.
That's all I want to do. _
_ I have never had my hair like that.
We're in Studio City, California.
The shoot is going to be today and tomorrow.
And it's for the new single, [Eb] Joy.
I think today is going to be a joyous day.
[Ab] We kind of came into this new [Dm] record as a whole.
[G] _ Contemplating [B] what joy actually really looks like.
What if we embrace color more?
And embrace a little bit of peculiarity and humor.
We've been dreaming about this concept [Ab] video for Joy.
And what should it look like?
We landed at [Bb] this idea of a _ new station. _
1960s.
There's this massive storm.
This mega storm as we call it.
That has basically nestled itself over [Eb] the entire United States.
It's a bit of a metaphor for [Gbm] hardship and trouble that we [Fm] face today.
And what do we do in response [F] to it?
We're going to do a [Eb] shot where the camera comes around one side of Joel.
And then when it gets to the other,
Joel, instead of seeing his reflection in the mirror in the makeup [Bb] room,
He _ sees Jude, who's Luke's son.
The problem is, [Eb] I'm doing the effect stuff and I [F] have no idea how I'm going to pull it off.
First thing you wanted to do was [Bb] _ [Eb] take off the mustache.
Excuse me, actor.
Why did you take off the [Cm] mustache so quickly?
Because I was done.
[Bb] _ _ [Cm] _ _ _

Oh, in my pretty life.
We're going to shoot it at a really high [C] frame rate in slow motion.
And there's going to be [Ebm] this _ _ [G] explosion of [C] movement.
Kind of a little bit Matrix [Ab] style.
It's almost like_
_ [Fm] Like before it was here and it kind of shot us back.
But maybe [Eb] it's more_
_ There's a dance number at the end.
There's a lot of [Cm] one shots.
What you're not going to see until the end of the picture is loads of color.
We're all wearing these bright 1960s outfits.
And that [Fm] last chorus, the color seeps into all of our [D] clothes.
Think like the end of Beauty and the Beast, the cartoon.
And we're all in colors transformed.
There's [C] a lot you can do inside this little Channel 13 news station.
It's always really special to see it coming [Eb] together.
I'm finished.
_ My shirt smells bad.
Don't know if it was [D] anxiety sweats or what.
But you know, _ flying's [Cm] hard.
It's not made for everybody.
But it was made for me today.
That is a wrap.
Wrap.
Two days of shooting, four minute video.
Yep.
Probably 60, 70 people.
[Fm] We flew, we danced.
[Eb] We got dressed up in _ 1960s garb.
Think I'm going to wear this for Halloween.
Really looking forward to you seeing this _ [Cm] picture.
We have worked very hard on it.
It's one thing when you write a song.
But to see ideas and the story behind something like this for a music video is quite astonishing.
[F] So we're excited to show it to you guys and let us know what you think.
Thanks for tuning in and for your support. _
