So for Good Good Father you will need to know four chords
The C chord, _ _ _ _ _ _ [F]
the F chord, _ _ _ _ the G chord, _ _ and [G] _
_ _ _ _ the A minor chord
[Am] _ _ _ _ _ [C] The strum pattern is down, down up, down up _
_ _ _ _ _ Let's try that slower
_ Down, down up, down up
So [Dm] something that's really helpful to know about this song is that it starts on the chord C
And you stay on C all the way through the word night
When you get to the word night, you switch to F and then [C] we'll keep going from there _
I've heard a thousand _ stories of what they _ think you're like
And I've heard the tender whisper of love in the dead of night
[F] And you tell me
F, and then from F it goes [F#m] to A minor, and then F, and then G, like this
_ [F]
And you tell _ me [Am] that you're pleased [F] and that _ _ I'm over [G] _ alone _ _ _
And then we go to the chorus
[F#] So to break it down, the verse is [C] C _ all the way through the word night
[F] And then we go to F, _ [Am] and then A minor, _ [F] and then F, _ _ [G] _
and G
And it'll be like that in all the verses
So in the second verse you can [Am] apply that same thing about the C chord
Which is that at the very beginning of the second verse you start on C
And you stay on C all the way through the word no, K-N-O-W, no
And which will go to the F chord, and then back to A minor, F, [G] [F] G, just like we did with the first verse
Okay, so now for the chorus
_ The chorus starts on F
_ And F will be played on the word father, which is kind of helpful to remember
So the word father starts with F, and the beginning of the chorus starts with F
You're a good, good father, that's who you are [C] C

And I'm loved [C] by [F] F You
That's who I am [C] C _ _

Or to slow it down

And remember, it's always so much easier to slow your strum pattern down
Slow it down so much so that you can play it comfortably
And then whenever it becomes easy, then speed it up just a little bit
And then play it at that speed until it becomes easy
And then just keep doing that all the way up until you're at full speed
Which in this case, I'm playing it at [F] about

so now let's move on to the bridge, which starts at
You are perfect in all of your ways
[F] So the way that I play this bridge is I start on F
And F will come in on the word perfect
So you are perfect in all of your [Am] ways A minor _ _ _

Okay, so let's talk about the last verse, which is very similar to the first two verses
And the only difference is that it ends with the part that goes

And then it goes back into the chorus
For this part, we're going to start with the same way we've started the other verses
