Hello YouTube, how you doing?
This is Fingers to Play from South Carolina.
I'm coming to you again with another tutorial on bass.
I'm going to attempt to sing a song and I'm going to play it.
This is one of the songs that we sing in our church.
I'm going to play it and then I'm going to go slow so you can catch it.
Watch my fingerboard, watch my fingers on the fingerboard.
Once again, before we start, the way you count the strings.
You can start from the bottom of the fretboard.
First string, second, third, fourth, fifth, and then one on the top.
That's the sixth string.
Frets, right here with these squares.
That's the first fret, second fret, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and so forth on.
Okay, this is the sixth string bass I'm playing on.
But if you have a five or four, you can still play it on there.
I'm starting fifth string on the third fret, which is the G.
Okay, now watch it closely.
This song is called Glory, Glory, Hallelujah.
My burden down, glory, glory, hallelujah, since I laid my burden down.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, since I laid my burden down.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, since I laid my burden down.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, since I laid my [Gm] burden down.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, [C#m] since I laid [N] my burden down.
A very simple song.
That was the basic way of singing it and playing it.
Break it down.
Just watch closely with my finger on the fingerboard.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, since I laid my burden down.
Glory, hallelujah, since I laid my burden down.
Hallelujah, since I laid my burden down.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, since I laid my burden down.
Rewind it, watch it back and forth.
You'll get it.
In the south, this was Fingers to Play.
I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you very
