Alright, what's up youtubers your boy ray sticking with the [Gm] same spirit of
Doing quick videos.
You know we love we're gonna get away from a sharp.
I mean a flat or a
[Db] G sharp or a flat we're going to do
D flat or C sharp and what we're gonna do when I'm gonna show you the things
I do if I want to play like quartet style bass
And most of the time when I play it well all the time when I'm playing we're not playing quartet style music
We're just playing some upbeat, and I'm like this song is whack let me add some flavor to it
So I just do the quartet thing and if a lot of old people go to your church watch out because they might do two
Step all right, so like I said we're in C sharp, and we're gonna be using mainly the C
sharp major pentatonic [E] scale
[Dbm] And
[F] [Dbm] [Em]
[Db]
[A] [E] off notes we're gonna use is the B
So I [Am] guess you could say that is that's a minor
[E] C sharp minor scale right here
Or you can say it's diminished
Or you can say it's mix a low D in or so many.
That's not confusing all right.
Let's get to it
Simple thing I do [C] just to stare them up a bit is this
[G] Can y'all make sure?
[Bbm]
All
[E]
[Bbm]
[Eb]
[Bbm] right, so that's simple and easy
[Abm] [Bb] [A]
[Eb] It's
One two [E] minor third [Bb]
five six [Eb] root all [Bbm] right in [Abm] [Bb]
[Am] this hand is [Bbm] idle
[Eb] [A] All [Bbm]
[A] right simple next thing I do if you want to get more
Expertise or more fluid [Abm] you could do
[Bbm]
[B] [Bb] [F] [Bbm]
[B] [Bb] [F]
[Bbm] [B] [Bb] [F]
[Bbm] [B] [Bb] [Eb]
[Db] [Eb] All right and for that
Run or that baseline you start on the two
and [F] you just Go [Ab] down
[Bb]
So [A] you get to the C sharp [F] then?
[Bbm]
[Bb] [B]
[Bb] [F]
[Bbm] [B] [Bbm]
[F] [Bbm]
[B] B [Bb] B [Am] flat [E]
a flat B flat
Then like every other turn that's when we used it we substitute
[C] the E [F] for the B
[Bbm] [B] [Bb]
[C] The lab we substitute the E for the last B because you know in the first one we [F] hit the B [Bbm] [B] [Bb]
[Em] [Gb] and
The last [G] one you substitute for the E
[Bbm] so [B] [Bb] [Am] [B] instead of
[Gm] That okay, I did my sister was coming because it's her iPad.
She probably started screaming so here we go [Fm] again
[Bb]
[Db] [Bb] [B]
[Bb] [Abm]
[Bbm] [B] [Bb]
[B] All right
[F]
[Bb] [Db] [Bb] [Bm]
[Bb] [Abm] [Bb] [F] [Bb]
[Db] [Bb] [B] [Bb] All
[E] [Eb]
[Db] right
[N] And another one you could do I got it from I forget his name, but it was off a gospel chops
So I do give credit where credit is due
Because it wasn't mine, but it was nice in another one
you start at the
[Db]
your lower C sharp
Where your middle is you using a five string all you do
[Bbm]
[E]
[Db] [Dbm] You use that as a run to
And all that is you do that regular
Run, [Ab] I mean you do the regular pentatonic where I'm talking like I'm a robot.
I just don't want to talk clear
I just want to talk clear make sure you understand [Db] so
[Bb]
[Ab] [Db]
[Bb] [Gb] Then you [Db] do
C [E] sharp E
[Gb] F sharp [Ab]
a [Em] flat
E back to that [Db] E and back to that C sharp [E]
[Bb]
[Db] [E] [Db]
all right
[G]
and as usual they call I
Call myself Ray tritone more because I love tritone so you add a tritone into it too, so [D] no matter where you [Bbm] are
[Em]
[E] [Abm] [Bb]
And [F] [Em] all that tritone is
What is this [E] E?
B that's not E.
This is a E B flat and just take it up a half step
to F [F] B flat
[Db] And that's your [Gb] octave right there, [Eb]
[Bb] [A] so
[F]
[Db]
[E] [Db] [Bb]
[E] [Db] [Bb]
[E] [F] So
[Bb]
[B] [E]
[B]
And [Db] [A] [E]
all [B] [Db] [Ab] [Gb]
[Em] I'm doing is just breaking that [E] tritone up
so I [F] would just
[Bb]
Or you [C] do it as [F] whole
[Bm] All right, so
Hopefully y'all got [G]
something that y'all can use if you want to do quartet music or whatnot again can't
