Hey guys, this is Andrew with Rock Class 101.
Today we're going to be learning Here Comes the Bride.
Remember, you can get the tabs at rockclass101 .com
So let's get started.
We begin with a C major chord
And I'm going to fret this with my middle finger on that third fret of first string and our pattern is going to be
four open strum
Followed by two hits on the first string just like that
Next we go into [G] this extended G
[C] The [G] extended G is just that basic G chord that you know
Except we're going to put our middle finger where the ring usually is and put our pinky on the fifth fret of string one
Okay, so the pattern remains the same for the G where it's four is open
Strum [Em] then second fret of string one and then strum a [C] C
The next part we're going from an A minor to an E minor so we have open
fourth string again put our first finger down on the second fret of string four
Strum that pinky reaches to seven on string one.
Then we have this E minor shape where we're going to go from
first finger on the fourth fret of string three
Ring is on the seventh fret of string two and pinkies all the way on ten on string one while for fourth string remains [Em] open
Now if you don't want to stretch [G] this far you guys are more than welcome just to bar the seventh fret of
Strings one through three while pinky remains on ten and the fourth again is open
So either or both work [Em] just fine.
I just like the color of this chord a little bit better
[G] So going from the third part we have this a minor again
[Am] Pinky stretches to seven on string one [Em] and then we go into the E minor shape
After that your ring finger is going to lay flat on seventh fret of string one
[A]
[Ab] Then first finger goes to third fret string one.
[Em] Okay, so take a look at that again
[Cm] Middle finger goes on the fifth fret of [Bb] string two.
We're gonna strum four and three open
[A]
Okay after that lay your middle finger flat [Gm] [C] five
seven on string one to C and at the very end I just do a little hammer-on pull-off and
[Ab] That's how we end the song.
[Gm] So guys.
I hope you enjoyed this.
