What's going on YouTube?
It's been a while since I put up a video, but I was actually listening to the radio today
And I heard how great is our God, and it was actually a different version.
It's kind of like a I don't know the normal version
I usually on the radio is Chris Tomlin, but this one actually was on an album put out by Paul Morton
So I decided to kind of give a little tutorial on how to play it
I'm gonna start it out simple, and then as I progress through the song maybe
You know get into some more feels, but the progression itself is really simple.
It's in D flat or C [C#m] sharp
However, you want to look at it
and it starts out on the one of the scale which is
the D flat
C sharp then [A#] it goes to the six
To the four and in the verse of the song you just stay on the four and then [B] go back to the one
But in the actual course of the song that how great is our God it goes one
[F#] [C#] six
four and five
And then back to the one so what I'm gonna.
Do I'm gonna play my interpretation of the bass line of course
It's not gonna be anything.
That's you know
Just on point with the record or anything like that
But I hope that you know you guys can pick up something from what I'm about to play
[F] [C#]
[Cm] [A#m]
[Fm] [F#]
[C#] [G#] [C#]
[Fm] [A#m] Oh
[A#m] [C#] [F#] [C#]
[F] [A#m] [F] [A#m]
[C#] [F#] [C#m]
[C#]
[Fm] [A#m] [Fm] [A#m]

[C#] [F#] [C#]

[B] [A#m]
[C#] [F#] [C#]
[Fm] [A#m] [Fm] [A#m]
[C#] [F#] [C#m] [G#]
[D#] [C#]
[G#m] [A#m]
[C#] [F#] [G#]
[C#]
[Fm] [A#m]
[N] Oh
So you get the basic idea you just take the basic progression
The one the six the four and the five and just start adding little flare things on top of it
Just to make it sound a little bit more interesting
But I mean that song is one of those songs that if you just play the basic progression
That you're gonna hold down the bottom and stay in the pocket
But one final thing I mean you can you can add some some little feels [C#] here, and they're kind of [A] like
[C] You [A#] know to take you from the one to the six or you know from the six to the four the four to the five
Whatever, but just make it your own, and I hope that this video has been able to bless somebody
